Weavers Needle is the famous landmark of the Superstition Mountains near Phoenix, Arizona.

Weavers Needle is the most famous landmark of the Superstition Mountains to the east of Phoenix, Arizona. It is a 6.6 mile lightly trafficked out & back hard trail from Peralta Trailhead, located near Gold Canyon, Arizona. Sonoran Desert and Rhyolite (volcanic rock) formations never fail to amaze the hikers.
Weavers Needle is a 1,000 foot high column of rock with a summit elevation of 4,555' ^.
There is a myth that floats around the Needle:
The Needle's shadow reportedly indicates the location of a rich vein of gold, and the hunt for gold around Weavers Needle has been pursued by thousands of people.

Places WeGo , if I may ask: about how long did it take ya to reach the needle from the peralta trailhead? I'm trying to work around a few things to accommodate this asap, so that lil but of info would be super valuable! Thanks in advance :)
O Lozano, it took us about 3 hours to reach the Saddle Point and another 20 minutes to go to the Overlook Ridge! Don't miss going over to the Overlook Ridge. It is worth it!
