Hi Gabby! Thanks for the video! Yeah, we have some words like that in Brazilian Portuguese too. For instance, "trem", "negocinho", "treco", "coisinha", are colloquial synonyms for the word "coisa" which is the academic way of saying "thing" :)
Thanks for sharing!!

In spanish I think there are a lot of words to replace an specific word I don't know . And they depend on the region and country, the word more known in this sense is "cosa". But there are other ways to refer to this subject. i.e in Colombia "esa vaina"
Madre
@@aleyda7 give me that "madre".how do you call this "madre"?
Cool soy de honduras y tambien uso vaina, otra común aqui es chunche

Hi Gabby.
I'm from Argentina and the most common word we use is "cosa".
It's the synonym of THING.
I lived in the US. and met a lot of people from different Spanish speaking countries and what I learned is that each of them have their own word for this, generally speaking.
Kindly,
Alberto.
cosa/coso is like thing, but we also say pendorcho, pirulo, pituto, socotroco :) we have a lot of this
when I went to Argentina, I heard "coso" a lot
Thanks a lot for this video, it's very usefully for people who have been studying English! The word like whatchamacallit or thingy in Russian language is штука, вещь))
I'm from Russia and I enjoy watching you Gabby! Thanks for efforts!
Thank you coach Gabby.

In Brazil we use so much "coisa", in order to say anything, for instance, when you don't know what you feel or sensation, "Estou meio coisado hoje" (I'm kinda 'coisado' today), mainly in northeast is more common!
