What attracted me to your channel was helicopter reviews for the past couple of years helicopters died nothing but drones on CZcams I didn't mind them for videos etc. But they can't match the feeling or sound of a helicopter flying 👍🇮🇪
The balance tab battery connection is for weight savings. XT30 would not supply more voltage.
Hey Justin I haven't flown a Heli since 1997 but I had them back to the 80s, I just like the simplicity of the heads now. I remember crashing and breaking everything. Thanks again for the video, I think I should look into this part of the hobby again.
Oh wow. A lot has changed. Even stability mode is just so relaxing to fly with this little guy. Makes me want to keep one to fly. 🔥

Had a mild crash with my M2. Had to change one broken servo arm. As I pulled the servo out, noticed how amazing the workmanship and quality was. If you want the best in a smaller heli this is it.
you are saying ,this heli is durable ? or not.
@@sunson4191 great durability, some of the parts are made of plastic and designed to break in the event of crash. I have the M2 V2 with all metal components so my opinion is based on that model.
@@rcas350pilot8 hey, thanks for the reply. May I ask, I have a 8ch Spektrum transmitter, so what receiver I should use for this OmpHobby ?
@@sunson4191 Any satellite receiver that has DSMX protocol since you have a Spectrum radio. I would contact BuddyRC as they have several. You just plug it into the flight controller and bind your radio.
I use a Spectrum DX8g2 with a spectrum satellite receiver to fly my M2.

I always FPV long-range my helicopter with meshed up parts from Blade 230/180 and Oxy2 because their parts are all interchangeable. TheThe OMP M2 did not do much damage to by hobby because M2's parts are too over-built, too think to be compatible. But, now the M1 looks like competing with 180 for interchangeable parts. I am ordering M1 parts now including the direct drive main motor.
Do they make this M1 heli in a ready to fly I can't find it as a ready to fly?
I got the m2 and I don't ever use 100 💯 head speed..felt like it would fry my battery..so 80 is good with the M2 . Really nice heli
Nice review. I know you know what you are talking about, but I had to look it up. I think what you broke is usually called an anti rotation guide. But the part for the M1 is listed as a swash plate mount, and it's currently out of stock everywhere except banggood of course.
Check amazon. A dealer on amazon in germany is offering all M1 parts over prime same price as BG. No waiting and shipping costs same day delivery even only for one part. That made my buy it

A lot! It’s way too quick and orientation is difficult!
Also it’s quite fun
Nothing like flying a quad when in normal mode. Flying a heli is like balancing a ball bearing on an upside down bowl. Much more challenging but also more interesting and fun.
In safe mode it would be more like a quad.
They had to make a battery with a larger capacity, around 500 mAh, at least five minutes flight.
Can you bind the jumper t 1 with the M1 Helicopter?
Budget is a concern as well.
I have both the m1 and 2 ,,the M2 keeps right up with my comet sab I love smaller helicopters and I am 100 💯 satisfied ,,the charm orange and yellow are beautiful ,,for some reason tho I had a lot of trouble using the receiver port for dsmx so I just fly the fhss on the m1

HI I am having problem going into mode 1 on my sprectrum dx7 radio with the OMP M2 explore. When i switch into mode 1 from normal the swash moves but the apart from the rpm change the agility remains the same. The same happens in mode 2. I hope you can assist me. Thanks
Please not too crazy so we can enjoy the flying characteristics! maybe we can use a mini camera. WE CAN USE with fpv ON IT!
In stability mode I’d say very similar but in 3D modes it’s another game lol

Yep,you need to bind a spektrum satellite on a spektrum reciever then plug just the satellite in

I am looking to buy either the M1 or M2 v2. I most likely will buy OMPs transmitter for it. I have flown Blade MSRX before, but not very well. Which would you suggest between the two and would a Spektrum transmitter be better?

I bought the e160 a year ago. There seems to be connectivity issues after 2 crashes n repairs it was too late to return it. I see there is version 2 of it. I don't trust it. Rather just get the M1.
