- In this video, we dive into how to negotiate with venues that are 1,000 capacity or less. For the starting promoter, you want to focus on starting and getting reps/experience in 100 to 400 capacity rooms before jumping into the higher capacity clubs. If you have any questions or suggestions for future videos, please leave a comment.

Who Am I?
I’ve booked, promoted, and produced over 2,500 shows with the world's biggest promoters (Live Nation and AEG Presents) and independently. Here is more about my background - www.makingitwithchrisg.com/abo....
What's that sound? I have Tourette Syndrome, which is why you may hear a regular vocal sound. My producer calls it Jazz. I have quite a few tics and have had Tourette Syndrome since I was 6 years old. To learn more about Tourette's or support research for Tourette Syndrome, please visit tourette.org/.

You are incredibly helpful... great inside knowledge and tips on what/how to navigate.
Appreciate you! Thank you!

Love this video 🧈Thank you!!!
Great stuff!! Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Amazing content! Very in depth. We're currently looking into transferring over from livestreams to live events and a lot of this information is super helpful! Thank you!
Not sure where you're located but your ranking of what shows pull the most numbers and sell the most alcohol is spot on.
This is awesome! Thanks for the information

Hey, great video and channel. I am new here and loving what I'm finding. I want to learn more about touring and 4 walling shows. A quick search didn't turn up many results. Do you have any videos on 4 walling that you can send me to? Thanks and keep up the good work!
And u can bump these numbers up about 15% for a New York Show.
For sure! Probably in all major markets - LA (most of California), Boston, Chicago, even Miami, etc.
Can you please go more in depth about percentages you get from ticketing platforms
Are you asking how much promoters get from the service fees that ticketing providers charge?
@@chrisgoyzueta Thank you for responding so quickly it is truly appreciated. My question is this how is it possible they will get customers to pay a convenience fee plus pay me a percentage of the tickets they sell to my companies event
How do you sell tickets as a new promoter.i have done 10 events and have not sold more then 40 tickets
I’d need more context. What kinds of shows have you booked? National touring artists or local shows?
Hey Chris :) love your content, is there any way I can contact you?
Hey, yes...send me an email to makingitwithchrisg@yahoo.com.
What's depressing is you can't make a profit off ticket sale alone than the other stuff on top.
