Today in our UPSC Stories series, our guest is Namgyal Angmo, IAS officer from the 2020 batch, presently posted as SDM Kapashera, South West District of Delhi. Ms. Namgyal belongs to a village called Nimo in the Leh District of Ladakh. Before moving to Pune and the US for her higher studies, she completed her schooling in Lamdon School Leh District. After completing her Master's from Delhi College of Economics, she worked in a bank for two years before leaving the job to pursue her Civil Services dream. She cracked the Civil Services exam on her second attempt with an AIR of 323. To know more about her inspiring journey, watch this episode.
