As a musician, this test makes me cringe. The 13/8 example sounds so metrically ambiguous and doesn’t give any sense of pulse. The 17/8 example was very clear, but the shown way to make it “easier” to count doesn’t make the most musical sense (a good musician would count it like 4+4+4+5). It’s like this test was made by someone who knows nothing about rhythm.

while I agree with you that this channel sucks, the 13/8 was only ambiguous because they are using the same piece of music, and the tempo changed in such a way that made it awkward to count after the 7/8. It really was still pretty simple if you are a good counter. I also agree they counted 13 and 17 really weird, but they are legitimate ways of counting.

That 17/8 regrouping was the only way I got it in the first place. 9 beats but the last beat got cut off halfway. Really cranked up the difficulty right away too! I thought there’d be more questions and a slower gradient to getting difficult
