I've stuck it out all through each phase saving gold and farming hoping to get enough mats for Phase 4 so I can live out my childhood desire of getting the Hand of Ragnaros as a 2h Tauren Shaman! I've got a majority of the mats, but unfortunately the guild I was in disbanded at the beginning of phase 4, so I'm hoping this new guild I joined will have a way that will allow me to possibly get it. I love pvp as well and with having gotten both AGM trinket and Tidal Charm, I want to finish it up with Hand of Rag.

i beg to differ mate , if you ever saw a video where a hunter pet tanked onyxia or another video where ppl raided ony with butt naked . you dont need to much buff . and those where back when classic was realese before the pandemic. now with some classes are op with runes i dont think we need too much consums or buffs
i was able to find three videos. one from 4 years ago with a hunter tanking her without a pet out. he had 6000 hp. another one from 3 years ago with another hunter tanking her. he had thunderfury and 9k hp. so both of those occurred in classic era. in both videos they have 3 rows of buffs/consumables on them. the only pet tanking video i can find is so low quality you can hardly tell what's going on but according to the video they were all alts in zg/mc epics. so in other words, experienced raiders and hardcore players (which is an appropriate term for people that raided on multiple characters in 2007). the threat management required to have a hunter pet tank also speaks to these peoples' coordination ability. this wasn't just a pug full of fresh 60s. on the "naked" onyxia run, the person filming is a priest with 5k hp and 4k mana. as a hunter, in near pre-bis, i have about 4k hp unbuffed. you can call it a "naked" run but where your stats come from doesn't matter so long as you have them. people are mostly gearing up for heat level 1-3, which should present a bigger challenge. i wonder where the datamined, re-colored tier sets will drop. maybe from heat level 3? :)
it's true we dont need that many consumes, the 226 fire res thing is required but id say you dont really need the rest of the consumes. but consumes always make things a lot easier

Love how Molten core made my 10g investment giving my 4000g. 50s per libram for three weeks ago, yesterday 200g each and selling faster then I could run to the mailbox to get a new one to list.

I don't understand how guilds expect EVERYONE to have full pre-bis + done all the faction reps and 100 different flasks and consumables. Its way to expensive and time consuming for the average SOD player which are generaly "older" dad type players. Every guildmaster trying to make their guild better than Method or any of the 1% guilds. Edit: Jeromes edits are bang on
idk wh y every guild raids with the requirements of method lmao it's a great question. it leads to a lot of burnout and problems every time. comparison is the thief of joy

@@reggiiee7 it's a smart move. wish my guild would do ony first, scope things out a bit, take it slow. i doubt the top guilds will clear heat level 3 day 1 or at least it will be an extreme challenge. sometimes being a little slower saves a lot of time and headaches

you are NEVER going to run out of mana..one other thing on spriest: demand PI on pull. it's bis for your raid. you snapshot all the dots and get way more damage, healing, and mana for everyone. mages dont get prio now
