There should be a roving a patrol on all light, especially open to 9am and 8pm to close. Just the fact of know a cops could pop on at anytime would cut down crime on light rail. The security guards are great decorations but don't really do much.
I can't wait for line 2 to officially start on Saturday But why is sound transit only going to operate their trains till 9:30 PM Do I think the trains should run until 11 11:30 PM
I visited Seattle a rode light rail maybe a dozen times and never encountered safety issues. Walking around some of the downtown definitely was sketchy but I was fine. Good that there’s local police that can help though.
Now Bellevue can have cops at the station staring at their phone like in NYC
