The 2022 US Open runs from August 23 - September 11 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 142nd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Fognini's technique and class was always underestimated. I feel that In this match the difference was not Nadal's game but, rather, physicality. Nevertheless, I have huge respect for Fognini as a spectacular tennis player.

Fognini's always been a quitter. That's how I'm going to remember his career. Any time he got into a position to pull an upset that could spring a deep run, he sabotaged himself with ridiculously bad decisions and then simply gave up. Kohlschreiber used to do the exact same thing.

Fognini is a very talented player but the lack of concentration and stamina makes the difference in the crucial moments.Techically he's maybe even superior to Rafa but guys u know how much important is stamina and mental strength in this sport...and Rafa is a commander here.
