    Great informative video. Thank you. I am a paddleboarder, but have struggled to sailboard. My thinking is to get a 4M wing and use it with the paddleboard till it's second nature, then go for a board with foil. I am on a bay and typically have 5 - 12 knots (chop and little white caps all across). It sounds like the 99 on the Levitator would be my next step. Do you agree? And, assuming I love that, would the 76 be the next addition for those days when we do get above 12 knot winds?

    Thanks for putting this information.
    What is the difference for lifting in light wind days for i84 vs i99 i.e. it lifts 2-3 mph earlier for i99? What is the max speed for i99?

    Thanks for the video! You mention its better to move the I99 forward? As a beginner (but a heavy rider 196 lbs, 89kg) I've struggled maintaining lift behind the boat wake foiling w/my I84 (yes, I'm sure much it technique). I have the I99 ordered and showing up next week, but when I get it should I mount it further forward than I have the i84 (which I have all the way to the back). When I watch video, my board is nice and level - I just can't seem to keep altitude before it sinks. Thanks in advance (I'm using the 71cm mast to plenty of reach in height)

    Any plans to release a wizard with a track?

    I love my 99 but I’m getting frustrated with setting it up. I mainly surf behind the boat. I can’t find any information or instructions on setting it up in the A position vs B position! It’s not in the instructions or online or on videos. It surfs like a champ but I want to fine tune it. For $1600 I think it is a fair expectation. Please help. Thanks

    Hello, have the 99 with 76cm mast and 48 rear wing, thats what i use for wing foil with 6m f one wing plus rocket air 140 l board inflatable, does it make sense, asking because after 10 tries on the water from 7 to 20 knts havent been able to fly yet, am a beginner. Board rises from front then i fall.

    What is the low end and stability comparison between the Infinity 65 and 76?
    Also between the old H2 and 65?

    • @slingshotsports
      @slingshotsports  Před 5 lety

      The low end on the 76 is a bit more than the 65. Depending on the person's size and conditions, the 76 can plane at speeds as low as 4kn.The 65 and the H2 are pretty comparable in size but the shape of the infinity allows for faster speeds on the foil.

      @@slingshotsports what minimum speed would you say the H2 and 65 have with that rider who can get the 76 going at 4kts? Does the 65 need more power than the H2?

    Hey, what’s the deal with some people mounting the rear wing upside down ? Have you tried this or heard of poeople doubt this ? (Rear wing tips down)

    • @slingshotsports
      @slingshotsports  Před 5 lety

      We have two wings available. The 42cm and the 48cm. The 42cm mounts with the wingtips pointing up toward the board and the 48cm will mount on the opposite side of the fuselage with wingtips facing down and away from the board. Never mount the 42cm wing with wingtips facing away from the board and never mount the 48cm wing with the wingtips facing up toward the boards. Good question.

      Stability versus carveability, basically. Rear wingtips swept up is more sensitive to turning.

    Also how does moving the mast forward or back effect the balance ? Can anyone chime in on that ?

      So far what I found is having it all the way back is super easy for getting up at first. Then when you want to get up on foil above the water, you have to lean pretty far back so it’s a lot more pressure on your back foot. Now that I’m finding my balance I moved the foil forward. It’s touchy but closer to equal weight on both feet. Don’t know about A position vs B position
