If this was sang to heavy metal Warren would not have been invited to the tv show. Funny how that works. I love extreme metal AND pianist singer songwriters.
Warren Zevon is one of the greatest artists of all time. Nobody since him has been nearly as impressive. Also, did you know that the tv show Californication was a loose retelling of Warrens life? Only instead of a musician, he was an author. But the parallels are uncanny.

How much I miss Warren. A brilliant songwriter with a unique sense of humour. We all lost a part of ourselves when his ride got here.
