Kubota M6060 Third Function Kit (M7991) Install Part 1

- Hey everyone, in this video I'm going to try to explain how to install a third function kit (M7991) on the Kubota M6060. I got this Kit (M7991) From Messick's. It is not an item you can order online but you can call them and tell them what you are looking for and they will get you fixed up. I actually submitted a video to Messick's CZcams channel and Neil does a great job explaining things and how to get in touch with them to get one for your tractor. This kit for the Kubota M6060 is not hard to install once you've done it once but can be a little tough the first time. This is part one, how to install the hoses part two will come out shortly so stay tuned.

I used your video to install a m7992 kit on a m7060 cab tractor. Without your video I wouldn't have never got this done with the instructions that I had. The short hose from the valve body yo the back of the tractor almost made me cuss. Thanks again.

I am also installing a Kubota brand 3rd function kit. i have the kit and downloaded the instructions you have in the video. These instructions by Kubota 100% totally suck. Your video however, is "REALLY" good. I also am looking forward to the second part of the video. Even if you don't get around to putting the second part up, I do thank you for this one. It has already helped out a lot! 😀
I’m working on the editing now on part 2 should be up before to long, I’m missing some of the video I shot due to my GoPro hero 10 losing video when the battery dies and computer issues, but should still turn out okay, thanks for watching!
I am also installing this kit on my M7060 and while using the loader manual was at a complete standstill. Watching your video helped me to install everything except the wiring harness. I commend you, I found the install diagrams vague and confusing. Waiting on you for video #2 so I can finish up 😊. Thanks again.

Any idea on when you’ll finish part 2 ? I cannot figure out the electrical connections to the tractor harness system.

I also have a m6060 but with Huge turf tires causing it to have a lot less ground clearance and I live in North Georgia mountains. I need very low center of gravity.
What type hydraulic connectors does the M7991 kit use? AG TYPE? FLAT FACE?

It doesn’t come with connectors, it just has caps on it with the kit, so you can put whatever connectors you need for your attachments
What quick connections does the kit come with at the hose hitch ? Pioneer or flat face?
The connection back where all the other hoses connect at the quick attackes are pioneer fittings, but out at the front of the loader the kit doesn’t come with quick connections, you put on whatever you want
Do you remember what the kit from Messick’s cost? I’m interested but afraid of the cost!
I don’t remember exactly but it was right around $1000.

No, they don’t sell it online, you have to contact a dealer, I went through Messick’s, called them up and they got me fixed up. Messicks actually did a video explaining why they don’t have it listed online. czcams.com/video/2lvd3dm1Upk/video.html
