  • Rome Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci, FCO/LIRF) is the busiest airport in Italy served by a vast array of airlines (close to 100 in 2019). The airport is a hub for ITA Airways (Alitalia's successor) and three LCCs, namely Vueling, Ryanair and Wizz Air.
FCO handled close to 11.7 million passengers (7.2 m international and 4.4 m domestic) in 2021 compared to 44 m passengers in 2019.
This video includes footage of MK Studios' rendition of the extensive Rome Fiumicino airport.
Modelling is rather good, textures on the other hand are not on par with best available in MSFS.
Simple terminal interior modelling is limited to the satellite terminal of T3.
The APM track connecting the main T3 building with the satellite concourse is included in the scenery as is the landside airport rail terminus served by the Leonardo Express train. Unfortunately no animated "Skybridge" APM vehicles nor Leonardo Express animated trains are included in the addon.
Landside rendering is reasonable with a clutter of buildings but unfortunately ruined by some low-res satellite imagery. This is not as evident when flying.
Night textures (terminal structures) are a bit bland.
Overall the addon is a vast improvement over the default MSFS rendition of FCO especially when considering the extensive number of structures involved.
