@ Alan Martin. All the time while watching the video I could not help thinking how much below his level are Anthony Blinken and Victoria Nuland and the little barking poodles like Col. Vinman, Fiona Hill and ex US ambassador to Ukraine, M.Yovanovitch.
Intellectual brilliance has gone from Kissinger to a policy appealing to cheap tabloid readers and populist propaganda lacking even an ounce of judgement.
We do not have the people it takes any longer and that is probably our biggest problem on the global scale because we can only rely on "might is right" type policies.

Why he wasn't hanged in the Hague and then buried next to the Nazis that were hanged on the same spot barely half a century ago, is beyond me.
Seriously, Kissinger is the PR department of American imperialism, and the main architect behind the rise of international fascism under the excuse of fighting the slightly less evil empire of the USSR.
If socialism was supposed to fail on its own, why was this barely human, pile of sentient garbage so adamant in installing puppet dictators and funding death squads to make it sure it failed?
      Seriously, it's so insultingly simple...

This man should have been prosecuted in a Nuremberg style trial at the International Criminal Court at the Hague. Yet he is still courted for interviews by the Western press as though he is some kind of oracle of wisdom. What the US did in South East Asia is one of the greatest crimes against humanity the world has ever seen and that has never been punished.

US/UN said it is an internal matter that requires no external intervention. When India was preparing to intervene, Pakistan launched large-scale surprise aerial attacks with the support US+allies to have the first mover advantage.... All with total disregard for the refugees (their own population at the time). The rest is history.

That tells me people are peaceful mostly except few bad apples. If we give them a voice they will always raise their voice for truth but politician and system doesn't give us that opportunity to talk. why can't we reach to level where we give credits to people and respect each other and listen even the opposite person doesn't come to an agreement. we can alway move on from disagreement to an agreement. If these power hungry politician can restrain them self from gaining more power to control people or gaining more wealth how good wood it be. If Henry Kissinger read the comments here would get the idea how people are and what they want. We want nothing but just a place to live with a security to food, health and a environment friendly world. We need to make an decentralized application for sending our votes to the world leaders on specific issues and views but the question is how would you people deal with the state fund propagenda. that the only thing can change our perception without knowing the truth. How would we know the truth and who would tell us the truth to make such decentralize voting system. It is life or death important that humanity understand that the gold market is going to crash. Gold mining would stop destroying the planet, Russia could bankrupt and end the war in Ukraine, and fortunes would not be squandered. What can be done with the gold in reserves, that are useless inside a vault, like in the Fort Knox in America? Only to sell it. How much cost taxpayers to protect the gold? Fortunes. To sell the gold today spares to pay for the protection tomorrow. If an innocent kid received 5 sweets as pocket money every week and had 1 gram of gold protected inside a vault that could sell for 100 sweets but the protection of the mineral would cost him 1 sweet a week, when would the kid sell?

Kissinger knows Putin is not happy with NATO expansion eastwards, but did not expect Putin is going to attack Ukraine. Kissinger also never expect Ukraine can resist Russia for that long. The way US treated China and Russia as dictators (anti democracy) has made Russia and China to be ally. Kissinger did not say nuclear will not be used, but Kissinger only said that what will happen after Russia deploy nuclear weapon will be very different from what we think the world would be, it will be totally unpredictable. My opinion is that Russia will not deploy nuclear if Ukraine able to bow down to Russia, but if Ukraine continue escalation nuclear may not be impossible. Kissinger however say that if Ukraine bow down to Russia because of nuclear threats, there is possible Russia repeat another blackmail to next country. It is a dilemma and difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting situation. For Putin, it is a serious miscalculation and Russia have to pay heavy price for the war, and if Russia loses, Putin Russia will become like Hitler Nazi Germany . If Russia wins, without nuclear.. I don't think it is happening or going to happen, as Russian army seems have inferior digital technology.

Kissinger is phenomenal at acquiring facts and disastrous at drawing conclusions from them. Conclusions that are incorrect and very dangerous.
I write as a former US diplomat who worked in Middle Eastern affairs and Soviet affairs in the State Department. I was a tenured career diplomat when I quit in 1979 because I disagreed so much with Kissinger's realpolitik.
Sigh. You cannot have a 'friendly' relationship with the Soviets selling them machines to make more accurate ball bearings, together with an 'adversarial' side to the relationship when they use those ball bearings to make more accurate nuclear bombs aimed at you. This is an extreme example. But the Soviets will use any 'in' you give them.
I lived in Russia for many months with Russians in their dormitories, I speak Russian. This gave me a better understanding of Russians than Kissinger's academic view gives him. He's wrong about them. From the very start they worked to take over the world, and they are still working to do so, and it looks like they are winning.
First Kissinger is wrong saying Russians are Europeans. They are not. Russians are ASIANS.They think like Asians. They act like Asians. They DO NOT have our culture.
He's wrong because he thinks Putin is losing support in Russia. Putin is a GOD in Russia.
And Kissinger is TOTALLY WRONG when he says China looks at this war and prays, 'never us.' EXACTLY the opposite. China sees Putin grabbing an enormous European country, killing thousands, taking over, and the ENTIRE West stands there with chattering teeth in total fear.
The lesson to China? You can do ANYTHING YOU WANT. At a maximum they will impound some of your luxury boats.
Kissinger's realpolitik is exactly what got us into this mess. And now, at almost 100, he's still pouring poison down the gullet of the gullible, fawning leaders of the West. ...maybe he's a Soviet plant....

What a relief to read your reaction. It is spot on and a very important message. Only thing I disagree: they will NOT win. :-) ok , for them not to win we will have to do 1939-1944 all over again. Snap out of our self indulgent lazy nature and get busy again. And this mentality change is urgent, and without nuance. Europe and the US need to get out there again. Western citizens have way more to fight for than Russians or Chinese ever will. But do we still realize this?
