I have been waiting for this awhile :) I would love to hear your thoughts about this compared to the Arya Organics as im on the fence about if these are worth the extra cost.
2nd ..from Toronto ☕️ I’m running a new LCDX ..with Lokius EQ ( because reasons) ..but the Emp’s 2.0 seem to be endgame….but nothing is ever perfect…but you can get more acceptable to your preferred tuning . Great review 👍👍
Any chance you will review the heddphone 2? Probably not. They are tuning and price wise not a totl heddphone. Still, I would love your opinion on how they hold up to totl headphones. I can only compare them to my lcd4z and cheaper stuff but im really impressed. I have to admitt though that I prefere a less analytical and slightly basier & tubier sound. Still IMO they are very neutral, fast and resolving. Ah well... maybe in a year Ill get the chance to AB them in the next highend.
Love the review. I have the Emperyan 2s and am enjoying them quite a bit. I prefer the duo pads overall character to the Alcantara, but I do, sometimes, miss some treble energy with the duo pads. I'm curious how you think these compare to the Susvara? Also, I know you just released a susvara amp video-it didn't feature any SPL phonitor amps. I currently use the Phonitor XE. Do you have any insight into how that might pair with the Susvara?
Your review of the Caldera is what sealed the deal for me for them, I love my Caldera, but I've also got the Immanis coming soon, heard you really loved it too, when are gonna hear more from you about them?
its extremely overpriced, a similar priced Hifiman Arya (series) or He1000SE will outclass it every way possible irrespective of sourcegear, I Demo-ed Them side by side and No way could justify Paying for Empyrean 2, its not even a question of tuning at this price segment good tuning is a given but the quality of the Renaro Drivers are still not up there for this segment. Wave theory's review was correct, anybody considering these Do demo them with other headphones first. Its a shame really, i dig the asthetics and the buildquality of Meze, hope they get there someday.

One is much warmer than the other the hekse is on the brighter side
