I don’t know….. I haven’t spent enough time with each version to completely quantify my preferences but the only closed back version of ZMF headphones that I prefer over the open is the Atrium Closed. Otherwise, I’ve always preferred the open versions. I think that it’s the better soundstage that does it for me.

Sajid, please try the Metalure Wave if you're craving a basshead IEM with mid bass. I have both the Scarlet Mini and the Metalure Wave they complement each other beautifully. Better than the Madoo Typ512 in my opinion. The Metalure Glacier is also pretty good but not nearly as unique as the Wave. Try looking for some reviews, everybody that has tried it has loved it.

Most of the high end IEMs with huge amount of drivers are just way to big and uncomfortable and some of them sound wonky and non-coherent.

I thought I am done with headphones after getting Atticus then I just have to go and listen to Atrium Closed in Zebra Wood and now I have one Atrium Closed in Wenge Wood in order. 😭 I would like to hear your comparison between this and Atrium Closed, perhaps it is in the other Caldera Closed video?

The Bokeh also has the Atrium Damping System🙂

I see the Supermoon on Drop for $600. I actually don't know anything about Drop. This Fat Freq for $800 and the Supermoon together for 1500 could be a lot of fun. I think of worse ways to spend money.

The color of the IEMs on their website photos looks very different. It looks more like a deep blood red on there

Audition this pair. Nice, creamy, analogish sound. Easy to listen for days. Great package and very comfortable. Cons... same as pros)) they don't extend audio experience as some other iems. This type of sound very fast became "normal" and don't feel like premium kilobuck)) Same effect was with u12t.

Far to expensive for me. When you can afford to buy these iems, you are a lucky one 🤓😄😁

I don’t understand how any audio device can be this expensive. It just seems inaccessible to most with extremely marginal benefits. This particular one is just also ugly. I don’t get how they can put out a design like this.

Hello Amit, This video is indeed very helpful and it really is something I can relate to at this point in the hobby. I have grown to love how you see / portray sound. I request you to make a video on audiophile terms that gets thrown around in reviews. For example, I have tried understanding the term "Timbre" but I just cannot understand it. I also just have an Hifiman Edition XS and Sennheiser IE600, my experience with gears is very limited, I feel. Any advise would be great :)

Regarding comfort of the LCD-5- I have basically zero hair like the great reviewer, a very large head as well (size 7 5/8" hat size) and average size ears. I have these with the updated and slightly larger headband, which was provided by Audeze, free of charge. I find the comfort amazing. The only headphones I have tried (and I have tried pretty much anything you can name), the only headphones that I find more comfortable are: HD800/s, Meze Empyrean (all variants), Meze 109 Pro, Hifiman Susvara, Arya and He1000 (all variants of each). I think unless you have a huge head and /or very large ears, these will be very comfortable for the 95% of people with the updated headband (which our reviewer did not have installed).

I heard the Trifecta at the CanJam London 2024 two weeks ago. I was blown away. I told Ken Ball it was the best iem I’ve ever heard.

Greetings from Northern California! I will be reviewing the Susvara Unveiled. I will be reviewing using the HIFIMAN EF1000 DAC, which, of course should be fabulous, but I own the Pass Labs HPA-1 class A headphone amp. The Susvara Unveiled is easier to drive, so I was wondering if you think the Pass Labs would be a good amp? The output voltage is power into 300 ohms 200 mW.Only single ended input jack...
