This 12-year-old girl was going through a lot prior to her being murdered. I never saw the interview of her mom talking about the child’s mental health issues, suicide attempts, etc. There was a lot going on in that household.

Immigration Law must exhaustively review all Venezuelan asylum cases, new applicants, and also those who have arrived in the US few years ago, ..and still do not have a hearing date. These people are scattered throughout the country, they hide behind a work permit or a TPS. Some are good and work hard, but 99% of those asylum cases do not qualify. The Venezuelan government does not persecute anyone, nor does it put anyone from the lower social class in prison for political reasons, these immigrants are Venezuelans with economic problems, they are not politically persecuted.

I completely disagree. We have proper protocol immigrants must follow to ensure the safety of Americans and appropriate city planning/urban growth. We are also a welfare state which means unlimited immigration is simply not feasible. I think immigrants are important to the American identity but no one should come into any country illegally.

She was 12 years old. At that age, i too was going through lots of mental health issues and having a rebellious phase. She probably felt safe to do so if she had done it before. She had a phone and spoke to her boyfriend. She felt safe in her town. And these two animals came and killed her.
