It is extremely obvious that any of these transactions have three criteria: 1), The announcement must sound good and progressive,. 2), It must involve a LOT of money. and 3) it doesn't really matter if they work or not, as long as they meet Criteria 1. and 2.

I believe the city of Winnipeg bought 5 electric buses. Unfortunately the buses don't work and can't operate in the cold winter months. So I ask what is the advantage of all electric vehicles?

RCMP has almost 11,000 passenger vehicles, guess how many are electric? Last time I looked, I could count them on 2 fingers.

My city had to replace the all the batteries after one year. They found the chargers break down as well. Lots of other components had to be replaced.
