Still found this system very impractical after all these years. Our door favourites have numerous types & hardware settings on their own, that having to save 4 types (if not, 8 types) of each door favourite just to include the minimum space isn't worth the trouble. We've simply drafted the standard in a worksheet & copy/paste them into our plans, including the direction arrows.
In the future, I'd like to be able to use a custom label to look like these circulation spaces so I can maintain them as linked elements, should the door move.
