Yes, I don’t understand how she’s become so successful. She literally took FunnyMarcos style of interviewing and made it extremely unfunny.
I think Michael's navigation through social awkwardness and answers were really good for an uncomfortable person lol. His redirection and asks to switch gear son the topic of conversation was so gentle and superb. I genuinly think aside from the dry humor, these types of videos are a master class in communication.

The amount of people not getting it was a short bit that is low key a CeraVe ad. Michael Cera has been giving out CeraVe bundles with his picture on it clearly on some gorrila marketing meme. She didn't "Make it too weird" it was clearly designed to be a storm off for clicks...
I think it's actually quite genius and props to Bobbi for pulling it off so well. She took a page out of her buddy Rick Glassman's book, who I'm sure has better than average retention during his ad reads. But I don't recall him having a stand alone 9 minute ad where so many that viewed it still don't realize it was an ad even though in the first few seconds the video literally displays an ad hashtag. That is impressive.
