Now here's what's killing our football talent, the mentality that 2 hour training session is good enough for a professional. Kobey Brian gymed 4 times a day personally, CR7 gym at home, Bendzima has a ball shooting machine at home and practice heading every day. They do this because it's their job but here some guys treat it as a hobby
As a student at TUT, Sundowns would hold events there & I remember one Tuesday morning they held one of these events, meet n greet photos with fans etc. I could smell the alcohol when taking pictures with some senior players.
@@thabomabowa2621 A professional player who played for a team that won the league & the national team could attend a meet-and-greet with fans while under the influence? Okay Thabo Mabowa
@@thabomabowa2621 , that’s the difference between our players here at home and overseas. Although it’s not a crime to drink, there is time and place for everything. Pitso used to have a big problem with players who would be drunk midweek where training has to take place. Our players who went overseas, some were turned back home because of drinking.
Mina i want to teach ths guy thing or two he was not sundowns material thts he was not playing they did him a favour just to go to the first team if m lying where is he nw

And you complain when people say Sundowns ruins careers because you sign quality players, get excited about them for a day and forget about them as you say, you don't even remember him.
I hear you Dave, but playing for a top club doesn't really mean you have to be the fastest or the fittest but can you play under instruction. It took Mshishi a while to brake through the starting 11 coz he had to learn what Pitso wanted from him, that's why Lebese didn't make it

They are paid better and treated better as opposed to our players.

@thabomabowa2621 there's a time for that not during meet n greet with fans come on
The excuses that he has could still be hindering his progress even now!
Bongani Thwala is his name, we call him Smotsa back home in the Vaal Triangle, Sebokeng.
I remember this player from School of Exellence, I think they used to call him sphithiphithi
This is the honest truth...time and money is too dangerous
That mhh! 😭😭.
this guy sounds very intelligent. So if hes struggled to be disciplined long enough then its hard
😂🤠🤠 Where's my home boy.... Smotso 😒😒😒😭 016
Ke mang yena yooh guys
Hey who is man guys, I don't remember him at downs at all, maybe he was the drunk one thinking the other guys were drunk.
Truth is this happens.
All I can hear is lack of discipline! This man must be a professional footballer for God sake! He must respect his profession.
Junior khanye the second 🥱

Who's this former player
A rare talent gone to waste
You need to get out of that mentality my brother please

The fact that you don't know him means you are not the target market for this interview.
@@dumisanikhoza6470 Who was targeted then???
@@mduduzidlamini7992 Maybe someone who knows the era he played in for starters.
How is he using Downs to market himself when he already played for Downs? 🤔

Who you
That explains why we under-achieved in that era. No short-cut to success....but hard-work
Pitso came with breathalyzer to training and everything changed
And we gad arguably a better squad back then than now. A team with Baloyi, Mphela, Zothwane, Manzini etc.... So good. But no trophies
HEY UBANI LO? WHO ARE YOU? OR YOU WERE PLAYING FOR FAKE SUNDOWNS IN YOUR VILLAGE
Go check the team that lost MTN 8 final in Durban that was played over 2 legs...
🤣🤣🤣
It's not his fault that you started watching football yesterday. How can you be a Sundowns fan but you do not know this guy?
Fitness don't play football and Sundowns supporter we don't remember you...Only now we know that you were there
You can't play football if you are not fit what are you saying? Sometimes in football you need luck

I'm surprised by "so-called" Sundowns supporters who don't know their former players. ☠️
They are still new to sundowns.🤣🤣
Who is this guy
Bongani Twala from Swallows and black aces
Thanks
@@khwezizingitwa5521ooh he used to play for pirates as well
"at Sundowns I was the fittest" that a lot of players were much fitter than him, including Kekana.
Richard Henyekane was much fitter.
U crazy wena. U weren't at sundowns
Not physical appearance wena physical fitness
Aibo where were you mekwenziwa amaMedicals and stuff🤣🤣🤣 noma ubusebenza khona kwiSundowns?
Why don't you study or get into business? I blame you first and the club.

He is just telling his story.
