2005 Kawasaki Bayou 250, will it ever run again? Top-end job on the cheap!

This Bayou, bundled in swaddling clothes, needs a new top-end. But, it needs to be done on the CHEAP! Will it ever run again? Watch and find out what I did!

Thank you for doing this for the kids! I just got my boys back today after bringing it to someone to have it gone through. Had oil leaking out of the crankshaft breather tube. I know some stuff but not enough about these engines so I had to find someone who had the time and brains to do what was needed. I didnt want to get myself into something I couldn't get out of lol. Or make thing worse. Well it ended up not being anything bad at all. It was just the decompression valve getting stuck from when it sat while waiting to be sold. The people I bought it from have kids and they just out great it but it was very well taken care of. It's a 2001 220. Awesome shape! But she runs great now! My son is a happy camper for sure. But I thank you for doing this for the kids because I know it wasn't easy (for me) trying to find someone to go through it for me. The fact you're helping a friend out shows the kind of person your are. You're a good man! The kids will love it and you know it! Good on you for taking this on for him. Its always nice when you know what you're doing or have a pretty damn good grasp anyway. I'd be completely lost! I'm glad mine didn't end up being anywhere near as bad as I thought. These bayous are known for being tanks! They can take a real beating and just keep going strong! Can't kill the damn things! Kawasaki did a good job with these bayous. Just keep up with oil and take of them and they'll last practically forever! Well thanks again and you got a sub from me! Keep up the great work 🤝

Really liked the low budget approach on this one. Sometimes this is the best way to go! Good for you for making somebody’s Christmas a lot more fun! I would like to see you assemble the block on the pistons on the XS11 build!
