Acrylic Pour Painting Reverse Dip Technique - Easy Fluid Art for Beginners

THE PREPARATION:
For the base for pouring I wrapped a big breakfast board with plastic wrap and taped it to the underside. You can also use thick cardboard or a piece of wood. The foil should be nice and tight and should not have any wrinkles.
MIXTURE OF PAINT:
30% Paint
50% Pouring Medium (vinyl adhesive)
20% Distilled Water
The amount may vary depending on the consistency and pigment density of the paint.
The finished mixture should flow from the spatula like warm honey, but also not be too watery.
THE POURING PROCESS:
First I covered the plastic wrap completely with white paint according to the size of the canvas and then I poured my desired colors in spectrum purple / pink over it. Here you can be creative. As an accent I added some Yellow, which I think fits very well.
When you put on the canvas it is important to press the canvas completely from below and move it slightly so that the paint really sticks to the canvas and you have no gaps without paint when you pull it off.
Then it is important to consider in which direction you lift the canvas, because this determines the direction of your pattern. You can dip the edges of your canvas into the paint again, brush it with some white Paint after it has dried or mask it with tape before you pour it.
Of course you can use the paint on the foil several times, with the 2nd dip you will often get even better results than with the 1st time.
