- Acrylic pour painting | Easy beginners Dip technique
This days (weeks), when almost all of us have to #StayHome , we spend a lot of our time online.
I decided to join this #WithMe initiative on social medias.
This is just a simple dip technique, with different options for lifting up the canvas for gorgeous flower painting.
Colours:
- Titanium white
- Pearl white
- Permanent violet
- Permanent magenta
- Alizarian violet
- Gold yellow
- Turquoise
- Emerald
My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium
I mixed my paints with my pouring medium:
- 4 parts pva craft glue
- 4 parts acrylic primer

My mixing ratio is 1 part paint to 2 - 3 parts pouring medium and water to consistency.

i love dips !!! so soft looking ! love it love the colors ! we cant go to each others houses so i cannot goto my daughters house for Easter but we will face time and last week i borrowed her little dog rosa for company so i am happy to have her here!! enjoy your Easter and lets all praise God through this uncertain time and know He is in with us in the midst of this and in control .John 3:16

Spring is in the Air 🌸🌺🌺🌸
It makes us all want to go out, but we cannot. I did go look out front. My kids bulbs are blooming like crazy! Purple and white are more than fifty! The roses are coming back. It's been rainy for many days in Southern California USA. This is very rare. We have to stay home. We are in our 70s and I am compromised medically. Have not seen kids or grandsons for weeks!
I hope your family is well. Painting is being good therapy!.

Wow, it really makes such a huge difference lifting one side (2 adjacent corners) first rather than trying to lift the entire canvas off of the paint at once. Stunning!

Good Morning Fiona! It’s been 5 months~and two very hot seasons here in North Carolina since you posted this video and it is still one of my favorites 💜!!!
I’ve been watching your videos all summer and am excited to start pouring now that the temps are swinging downhill, as I love to work outside as much as possible. I have 4 sons, 18-26 yrs always coming and going and they’re so worried I might ask them to do yard work, they usually leave me alone when I’m outside with the paint table.

Love the way you use so many techniques you have learned. I used your balloon technique and plastic bags filled with air to create a nice background for a flower painting I did over it. 🖌.

Absolutely beautiful...the colors are amazing never done any pourings or dips but would love to give it a try...I am inspired thank you.
I love them! Gilly Cube always puts her dips in a Chevron pattern, looks a lot like this one. I’m so excited bc with Pourage Posse paint(Christina Welch) I can do dips now! They’re crisp & pretty.(not all blurry) so I’ve been practicing!
