The one thing I noticed from the beginning of the coverage of this issue - is that in fact Olivia Jade is a rather dull and stupid person.

I'm confused...people keep saying she needs to "pay back" that money. What money is she supposed to pay back? She PAID money out...not stole money. Also...Olivia jade was not there on a scholarship which I've seen tossed around a lot too. They paid 500 grand to give the school the impression they had been high school athletes so that they would be accepted based on that rather than the grades they didn't qualify with...then after they were accepted based on this athletic prowess...they didn't join the team. That is the fraud...getting in based on qualifications they didn't have.

Well normally they donate to the school and dont take special athletic spots, so it's not as bad. At least the money would benefit other students that way and not go into a grimy person's pockets.

Sad that her mother thought so little of her that bribes were necessary. I believe she could have gone to USC on her marketing skills and sm following. That is why a lot of people go to school in the first place and Olivia was already successful as a teen. Also, not everyone needs college. Pushing your desires on your kids when they can be successful without school is shameful. Finally, all Loughlin needed to do was ask Caruso (her daughters best friends with his daughter) to 'put in a good word.' That is not illegal and people network like this all the time.

@Mario Lopez I know that is why your average person often uses homes or even cars as collateral, but you would imagine a couple with a combined net worth of 100 million dollars would probably have the money. On the other hand, they have extremely expensive taste and I wonder how much money they have that isn't tied up in real estate and other investments.

I do not spend beyond my means. Besides, if they can pull a half a million to buy their kids into college, I'm just asking why they have to use their house as collateral. They are suppose to have a net worth of about 100 million...I just find it hard to believe that they couldn't put their hands on 10,000 in cash...that's all. I make a measly 54,000 a year, and my net worth is maybe 300,000...yet I can put my hands on 10,000 if I had to. You talk as if these people live like your everyday Joe. Put that with the fact that they have greatly decreased the cash flow by Lori losing her means to bring in income. When will people learn that titles and degrees behind your name means nothing when no one trusts your word or respects who you are and what you stood for anymore. All of these videos with her daughter are going to come back to bite her. They leave no doubt she knew what she was doing and more or less didn't care what she was doing. I used to like Lori Loughlin, but I have no respect for anyone who thinks that they are above the law. Actors and Actresses think that they are more important than they really are. All they are is court jesters, their job is only to entertain us.
I can guarantee you that if it weren’t for Olivia’s content that there is a high chance they wouldn’t be in this position now. It’s unfortunate that her parents were put in the position that in order to follow up on their spoken goals of their children getting into college they had to not only pay for their children to go to school but they had to pay for them to get into school. Its unfortunate that they were forced to be placed into this position as well at taking places form other more deserving students who worked much harder to get into a good school. Unfortunately (some) kids have become so reliant on knowing that their parents are able to take care of everything they want that they have become so selfish and self centered in their actions.
