I’m really glad that you & this channel produced & aired this episode. I grew up in the ‘70’s & ‘80’s and the jingoism of the 80’s especially when I was a teenager made it clear to everyone that the US was the Good Guys. I graduated from college in ‘93. I actually had a pair of literal rose colored sunglasses when I was in high school. But I was an adult before I started seeing the reality of how our country actually works and behaves. I was extremely naive, but I am a lot more realistic now that I was as a kid.
When i was in 6th grade, this rich kid in my class told people his dad had money in Switzerland. It was strange to me until i learned it was for tax reasons or to hide money.

People who claimed to be "woke" in 2020, the "word of the year" now whiningly demand it to be defined and saying it just a daemonizing word used by "old white men" to put anything not-conservative in it, which it indeed became, except that it was always a garbage phaenomenon of spoiled upper-middle class kids from ethnic minorities in western countries, pretending they lived "discrimination" when in reality they received state-sponsor special treatment from institutions (at least in USA) and were carefully cajoled by the entertainment industries, inventing discriminations they never faced or that were faced by their grandparents over half a century ago, while followed by masses of dumb normies. Money from mom and dad protected them from any real life struggle anyway (except may be drug addictions, or self-made psychological problems such as anxiety or depression, or social media and video games addictions). The degenerency of western ethnic minorities upper classes who made career in either entertainment or the business of "progressist" causes, who today masquerading as activists, is, i think, quite well resumed by nicky minaj boasting about "girl power" while posing next to the billionaire daughter of late tycoon of angola's oil industry....that all those engagements against "sYsTeMiC WaZZiSMMM", "WoMeN RiGGhhTTss" or the more extravagant causes of LGBT that are now a public circus....if that doesn't convince you that the days of civil rights are long gone....
After Trump was hastily booted out for being the only President not to start a war, Biden was installed, and taxpayers are now paying for 2 , soon to be 3 wars, I'd argue people are more asleep than ever, despite having all of human history in their pockets at all times. At least if America blunders their way into a second Biden term, they can enjoy a draft vacation to Israel or Ukraine. Hope their news wasn't lying about who was winning.
