The way the old lady comes out from around the corner of her garage after telling you to leave was terrifying 😂😂
lol Right, but at that time, Michael is on public property. She can't do anything but observe.
She completely creeped me out!

She has clearly been around to live through the events as they broke in the news. Now she probably wants to live in peace.
I was just there a few minutes ago and seen her out front doing yard work haha😅

The citizens were alert. They kept calling the police to no avail.
@@jossangeles4011 Believe me brother, the police will never be able to capture all the Jeffrey Dahmer out there, it requires the community coming together by taking ownership in solving their own case with or without the police support otherwise many Jeffrey Dahmer will be unnoticed for a long. I couldnt imagine being that old woman living in that house. She must get hounded all the time by people. And she had probably told quite a few people to leave her alone. I could never live in that house just knowing what type of man used to reside there......
If she was smart....she'd be charging people money....hell, I would. Give me $2O and you can film all you want. Give me $35 and I'll give you a fucking interview. At her age, she looks like she could use some extra income.
I'm surprised they didn't tear that building down. If I was that old lady I would sell that place off immediately, I don't care if it's in a nice neighborhood or what there's no way I would stay at a house that was owned by a serial killer.

True story for you... I was a delivery driver in the late 80's to early 90's, when Dahmer was doing his murders in Milwaukee, and I actually made deliveries to HIS ACTUAL APARTMENT 213!
I had made several deliveries to the Oxford Apartments and the reason why I was sent was because I was very familiar with the neighborhood, And EVERY TIME i did a delivery, to his place... I could smell HORRIBLE SMELLS coming from his place! When I made the very last delivery to his apartment, the smell was SO BAD that I could smell the stink from down in the foyer after he rang me into the building. I couldn't WAIT to get away from there!
Not to mention, I started to get really bad vibs from the building... and I got to a point where I told my bosses that I didn't want to do deliveries there anymore!
I told them that there was something VERY, VERY BAD going on there and I wanted to tell the police. They told me not to contact the police.
I had always wished I would have?! I wished I would have done SOMETHING?! :(
I never could understand HOW the other residence of The Oxford could even STAND living there with that smell?! They HAD to have known SOMETHING was very off?!
I will NEVER forget this OR meeting him! He always seemed to have Dead Eyes?!
Just creeped me out!
Thank You for doing this Vid. This is a story that so many don't know or never heard before!
I betcha that's the main reason for tearing down the building..the stench permeated the entire building.
That's terrifying to think you came close to Dahmer! I live in England and we had a couple called the Wests' who killed twelve people and buried them in their back garden! It's all so bizarre.
That’s crazy
the smell, sounds of struggling lives, boys going in, but not returning. Apartment people do not mind their own business. Everyone who smelled the death smell had to have known wring stuff. I am still blown away that neighbors, friends, manager, police just let it go.
Lol ok
when you showed the 14 year old boys grave, the amount of sorrow and grief i felt. it was so silent and heartbreaking. none of the victims deserved what happened to them and especially not that poor little boy:(
I can't believe those cops delivering that kid to Dahmer on a silver platter. They were standing in his apartment which smelled like death. This kid didn't even look 14 let alone 19 like Dahmer said. He was drugged, incoherent, bleeding. They should have caught him right then and there instead of sending that kid to his death.
😫
@peggypeggy4137 Actually, it didn't smell like death, at least not at that time. They described it as a chemical smell. Dahmer had lots of cleaning chemicals as well as acid in the apartment. Acid has a smell to it as well. It's not illegal to have cleaning chemicals in your home.
I don’t get how people would not know it was human decay causing the smell. A fellow in my apartment building passed away and nobody found him for a couple of days and the smell was overwhelming…after 2 days. Everything in the apartment had to be hauled to the dump, it permeated everything. There is no other smell like it and it is sickening. Cops should have noticed it right off.
carline I'm with ya. the cops shod have known the smell. or at least get a warrant to search his house. I can understand people bot realising what the smell was. dahmer really wish he got caught earlier. the lives he took. the pain he has caused. him and another killer I think his name was Derek Nelson are the most sick twisted serial killers ever. I'm so glad that advanced tech has made it easier to catch serial killers. that's why u think there has not been a serial ee in the USA for a super long time. I really hope the advanced tech continues
Yup, it’s even more insane that Cops helped an escaped victim back into Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment and they noticed the foul smell but didn’t investigate any further.
Jeffrey Dahmer also had the body of a previous victim laid out on the floor at that time.
@Charles X dead bodies do not smell like sewage. It’s a totally unique smell. Sweet, decayed, very strong, putrid. It’s not even like that of an animal. Different. You know when you smell it. It’s like instinct.

@@mr.garlicman3134 correct, and that's why there are so many new streaming services coming out like MAX and Peacock because streaming is taking over and cable tv is becoming less common .
This is a sensitive topic. I think you covered this perfectly with a lot of respect to the victims and their families. Terrific job!
Weird fact: my parents almost bought the house from Jeffrey Dahmer‘s grandmother, but my mom said she wanted too much money for it, but the wood work was Beautiful.
And One of my family members would carpool with Jeffrey Dahmer when he worked at the factory for a short time.
And! This one is a bit of a stretch but… my mom’s friends mom was Jeffrey Dahmer‘s dentist… 😬
That old lady scared the crap out of me. I wasn’t expecting her to just pop up lol

His lawyer was against him talking without them there but he did it everyday. If you look at the documents it has date and time he gets there and when they return him.
If Adam Walsh was one of Dahmer’s victim, he would have admitted it
It's strange that Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy, were both arrested multiple times and let go. They killed so many men and boys when they should have been caught early on. So sad and extremely disturbing. Anyway, great video Grimm, you always cover the history very well.
Here is the thing, most serial killers are experts at blending in and being disarming. They don't set off peoples lizard brain and alert them that there is a predator near by.
Unfortunately, these were the times. When homosexuality was driven into underground. People didn't want to deal with what wasn't accepted socially. That's is the system failure for the victims, by society and the police that returned the victims back to the perpetrator monster. In those days, people double victimized the victim. By saying, they deserve it. They are gross by who they are!
Its simple. The mainstream media creates these so - called serial killers. I heard real murderers are thus not allowed to be interviewed. The idea is to scare people into not going to certain places and not going out at certain hours. If the cops suspect you of anything you are investigated and then arrested and not investigated just to be allowed to leave the police station. The end goal is to make you behave irrationally so its easier for the police to arrest you and then you are not investigating the actor based reality. If I am right then it means if you kill somebody that is a confidential matter between your family and the victim´s family. After the actor strike we suddenly started hearing these stories about spree killers and mass shootings, school shootings and so on. Prior to that we heard mostly no such stories. If you realized that you are living in a beautiful paradise and that world peace has actually been achieved, that would mean the end of the ability of the mainstream media to have any influence over you. If gun legislation was relaxed and more people could defend themselves then the media would be forced to stop airing endless stories about never ending killings and sprees and people being sent to prison just to escape. The people who stage these events are members of families who are part of the film industry. The people who tell you the news about serial killers and events involving all kinds of action on TV are the same ones as the ones who make the action films. The people who sell you the drama are the same ones as those who make the drama films. Those who sell you fantasies on TV are the same ones as the ones who make fantasy films. Those who sell you alien and UFO stuff on TV are the same ones as the ones who make the science - fiction movies and TV show. Therefore ergo sum, those who tell you all these horrible stories about all these murderers caught live on television are the same ones as those who make serial TV events covering action, suspense and thrills. To deliver you the most up to date action, suspense and thrills.
never underestimate how stupid, bigoted and incompetent the overwhelming majority of cops are.
Almost like it was planned? By someone

Another fantastic video by you two, many thanks to you and your channel.
As always, you two amaze me with how respectful yet thorough you are on your travels to make these incredible videos. Dahmer was the subject of a report I gave in high school, at the time the story was still a major headline. My teacher wrote "Disturbingly gruesome!" on the paper and gave me an A.
They both died in 1994.
Yea very respectful trespassing on their property and having to be told to leave 3 times and wouldn’t. What an ass
Had to subscribe just off the pure professionalism you display all around from content, narration and the way you displayed the old building into the video was amazing. Keep up the great work!
The sad part about it is that the neighbor of Jeffrey Dahmer in the documentary she warned the cops that there was something about him that wasn't right but they didnt believe her
That neighbor in the documentary was mostly fabricated. There was a Glenda that lived there, but she didn't live across the hall she lived in another building nearby. No neighbors reported anything to the police about him in real life.
That's really where the dramatization of the documentary comes in. Glenda Cleveland lived in the apartment buildings behind the Oxford that are still standing today. Dahmers actual neighbor helped him clean his apartment to get rid of the smells. And made no effort to report him.
Thank you for being respectful and mindful of property owners, not trespassing or jumping gates and fences. Kindness, honesty and basic human decency are (sadly) going they way of the dinosaurs. Y'all are good people!

Amazing isn't it how much these things can affect us, like we are all connected in a way - I'm morbidly grateful Dahmer confessed on who he killed as otherwise people may never know what happened to their loved one 🙏🏾
I cannot believe he was allowed to be interviewed for TV. The fact that he was sitting so naturally blows me away.
He was my neighbor and we went to Revere High School together and rode the same bus. He was the quiet guy that got picked on but you could see in his eyes, he was thinking up evil. You covered this tactfully and with fascinating facts. I just wish he was actually taken into custody when he was pulled over. Steven Hicks was in the back seat dismembermend. Sadly so many people could have been saved. I can't imagine what poor Steven Hicks went through. I worked the dig at the house in Bath, as I was working towards my medical examiner and Forensic Pathologist degrees.
It is amazing how banal evil like Dahmer is and how close at hand a guy like him can be. What did you think of the movie they did recently on him? Did it do your town and his story justice?
@@JohnDahleAL , Bath is a good sized township nowadays but was much more secluded and quiet back when I grew up thru the 80's and 90's. I’m glad you visited the neighborhood in Milwaukee where Dahmer lived. I was working in Milwaukee a few years ago and I had to visit this location. I got a total creepy vibe while walking around the block.
So I was looking for your page and couldn't find it until it just now showed up in my recommendations so glad
I understand the lady not wanting you to film, but she didn't have to be so aggressive about it. I mean, she chose to live there.
You were gracious in your response.
Right? I visited the house today and I thought "I'd want to know the history of somewhere before I pay to live there." I'd be questioning why so many people are taking pictures and looking at my house. Clearly she knows and deals with it a lot but she chose to live there knowing that's a possibility. It's not a small story, it's huge in history.
I mean her property her rules. If you have a problem with someone telling you get off their property, then you obviously have some issues. So she had every right to be aggressive. I would of done the same. Getting Permission next time, is great to do though.
@@hellomikie92 - I'm gonna side with you. Yes....she chose to live there and that comes with baggage, but it wasn't her grandson that committed the murders, and it is her property.
@hellomikie92 Where did he say he had a problem? He was polite. She still could have been nicer about it.
There's no harm in being nice, especially when she knows what house she's living in. It's a given people will be tempted to have a peak.
He wasn't inside her gate.
He still would have backed off regardless and like he said he wasn't trespassing.
He just got a little too close.
I agree with your comment She could have said would you please leave?
Excellent. The videos are just getting better and better and they way the story is told brings everyone in like we’re there.👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I think everyone can appreciate how respectful you are :) these videos are cool very informative
I just stumbled across your video and it was so well done. The quality of the video was incredible, the content was super interesting. I love how you included video clips as well. Some I had never seen before of Dahmer in the home videos. New subscriber here. Now going to check out all your other videos. Thank you for the well made content! 😊
Hi, just watched your video, credit to you, it's very indepth and well put together, sad events, we'll never forget the victims, R.I.P to all.
I can tell how passionate you are about this gruesome history. Thank you for going the extra mile. (You too Jessica)
You tell a good story grim! Fascinating and respectful at the same time, well done. R.I.P. to the victims as always.
Damn you guys topped it !!!! Wow this one's AWESOME ....HELL YEAH!!!. thanx you two , We all appreciate what you guys do to bring us this great content✌🏻😎🔥🤘🏻 ...
Grimmlifcollective, you don't know who I am but I've been following your channel for a very long time. The amount of willpower just to get out of bed and travel to all these locations is much appreciated. I don't know how much money you spend on travel alone, in the name of visiting places of historical interest, but I appreciate these videos very much. I wish you'd go to Maine and do a Stephen King thing over there (i'm a huge Stephen King fan), visit the road where SK was hit by a van or his house and the filming locations for some of his films. etc
Yay! Thanks so much for taking us along to these places.
This is my new favorite CZcams channel! I love you guys and your content so much… been binging the past 2 weeks!
I really enjoyed this it was really great (watching from England)
My favourite CZcams channel with the most talented creators behind it. The way you both tell stories keeps me glued from start to finish. Michael and Jessica are top tier and I also really enjoy seeing how much they value and respect each other and their surroundings. As soon as I discovered your channel I binged all of the old videos and have not missed an upload. I’m literally re watching this one because it is so good. Love you both ! ❤️
I love how respectful you are. I would guess a lot of people probably aggravate these home owners or try to take souvenirs. As crazy as people are, I would guess that older woman wants some security and privacy.
Since Jessica is from St. Louis, next time you come back you should do a cover on Momo. Not too many outside the area know about it, or even people inside the area! The family still owns the property where it was seen.
Yup and I can't blame them for wanting their privacy. On the same hand when you buy a home I hope people did their due diligence. There's no way someone doesn't know who lived in that house. When you buy a property like that you know you are going to get gawkers so I find her ermm terseness a little extreme, especially since she didn't appear to put up no trespass signs.

Who moves into a house like that unless you wanna collect tourist money? All the houses in the world
Another masterpiece from you two..you just keep topping yourselves. Excellent job of research, editing, and reporting respectfully and nobly. Thank you and RIP to the victims!
Well done Michael & Jessica, another great informative documentary. How strange, with the confrontation with the neighbour (although, perhaps understandable), & yet the Albert Fish episode (a worse creature than Dahmer) you’re not confronted? & also, the property is still there, looking almost pristine, & up for sale.
Omg I love this video , thanks a lot dude ❤.
You are so professional, well versed, fun, and informative. I’m so addicted to following you two!
Truely one of the most disgraceful periods in law enforcement history.
I agrei
Masterful job on this I love the way you present everything, very fascinating video. Thank you for sharing
When I was younger I always thought I was disgusting for having an interest in/not being phased by the macabre or gore fake or real. And then I found channels like yours on CZcams and felt kinda normal. I’m just thankful that there are people who choose to educate people about instead of glorifying serial killers. Although I’m never really phased by any of it so to make others comfortable and feel calmer about the true crime stories I talk to peers about, I just say that what those people did were horrible and that it’s better that they can’t hurt anyone anymore. I am so thankful for your series on real crime locations as it tells the story of both the killer and the victims which is so important to do so thank you ❤
Once again, the respect and understanding is the reason I keep coming back. You guys are amazing. My youngest daughter has started watching some of your more kid appropriate stuff. Love the family friendly content
What a great video! I’ve studied Dahmer for years and the Netflix drama is spot on with the attention to detail, right down to the Oxford apartments layout including 213
Informative tour!
Thanks for talking about and sharing history whether it’s good or bad,or even gruesome.
