Guess what? That does not make Jockey a Bangladesh company. Like I said before, Kantanka is a step in the right direction. Focus needs to be to produce their own. Ghanaians supporting their own car will soon encourage competition and further the economy in that country. Where parts come from is irrelevant.

@@EricSuede There is something you don't understand my friend, in automotive industries they have a group of companies for example GM (USA) & Wuling (china). Wuling rebadge some GM cars for asia market, GM rebadge some wuling cars for US and Europe market both of them shares a technology.
Meanwhile some of automotive industries they don't have a group and they open for global market (pure commodity) like foday Ltd, lifan motor, etc.
They allowed a buyer to rebagde the products/cars by CKD with minimum quantities, commonly this happened to entry level cars or LCGC (ask google if you don't understand).
      For example is foday landford,

Kantanka should bring the prices down. If your cars cost the same as Toyotas and Hondas, which car do you think customers will buy. Has Kantanka ever crash tested their cars? When Hyundai came out some years ago, their cars were very cheap compared to the other car manufacturers.

Please point of correction the government hasn't granted the tax free yet. Our country leaders are so selfish, wicked and hypocrites

@@kofidanso9187 its a policy they have just put on paper. tax holidays not only for Kantanka but other like Volkswagen and all the automobile companies coming in. They are yet to approve the draft and ractifiy by parliament. If the Tax Holidays have been implemented, it would reflect on the prices of their cars.

@@IsaacAdjeiSafo OK.. So it would be granted anyways.. So why the use of those words 'wicked' 'selfish' and 'hipocrites' . I don't think it is fair to use such words. Let us sometimes exercise some decorum in our choice of words. The truth is that, before any government can give him 100% support, he has to agree to the proposal of forming a company that is well managed by a BOD of which the government is a stakeholder rather than the one man business/company which it is now. But he has also refused form a company well managed by a BOD. So as it stands, the government can not grant/give any more support than they have.. Let's be honest..
