I can listen to his sweet voice all day. Reminds me of sweeter times, feels like home. He’s a good man. We may come to find that he escaped a life which may have destroyed him. He’s given his life to serve the Lord who saved him. I just think he’s beautiful.
My thinking as well! I see many similarities, hear much context of a former life we know lots about. Once He told a lady tourist wearing a gold Lame’ jacket that he had one just like that in the past. There’s a video of EP in his gold lame’ jacket and I recall that concert.

I've always been looked out for, by God. He's been there through it all. I enjoy most... love, and caring for others. I was widowed very young, had an 8 month old daughter, and was 8 weeks pregnant with our second child...I was angry, with him for going...and, the LORD, for taking him. But, like you, I ALWAYS had that special relationship with God. So, instead of letting it keep me down, I returned to school and became a Nurse...to love and care for others who hurt..
Whether physically, or other. We all have a calling, who walk with God...giving to others is our passion. Over the years, I realized this too was his plan. I was called to love, a d care for others, and was called an angel , by more than a few patients. They said I was "different "...I think they knew it wasn't just a job to me...I truly cared. I think you can relate to giving to others, it does OUR heart good to know we make a difference. Giving to others, gives us MORE. You always touch me...and hit home with your sermons. Your calling was and is giving to others, bell sheep...mine, was to comfort others who hurt...AND THE GREATEST OF THESE...IS LOVE. He didn't forsake me, he's been with me every step of the way. The greatest things in life...aren't things. You're right. I know now, he had and has a plan...all we have to do is trust. What we go through, we can let it make us bitter...or, make us better. I think we are now, better. Thank you, again...for your heart, and faith. I LOVE the way you think...and, believe. He's all we need. You make me smile, think, and make my day. God bless you...you ALWAYS hit home. AMEN
Thank you for sharing your story Marilyn. I could feel your calling to be a Nurse was so heartfelt . God using you to help people in turn ..was satisfying and joyous for you ; called you an Angel ! Wish I worked with you. I was in between singing and art jobs, and Mom suggested I join a choir where a nurse who told me to play my guitar in the Nursing Home. I became a music and art therapist for 11 years ! I even got a MS in Recreational Therapy and Certification at 49 yrsO !! I loved the residents and was like the pied piper !!. Retired now maybe I’ll volunteer? God knows where we belong ..no coincidences to both our stories eh ! Blessings to you Angel 🙌😇🎶💕🕊

Hallelujah Pastor Bob! Lift up your eyes! In Luke 21:25-27 Jesus says "And there will be signs in the sun, the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great Glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift your heads, because your redemption draws near. My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. The Lord shall preserve me from all evil. God will save you, but he wants to do more than save you. If you have been born again your spirit is now alive and your selfish soul must die. It is the word of God that crucifies the soul and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. Don't spend your time pre-occupied with the things of this world but invest in the two things that will never die, your spirit and the word of God! Jesus is our chief joy, and the loving kindness of God is better than life itself! May the Peace, Love and Joy of God rain down upon you Pastor Bob!
