I'd prefer Rural Electrification (REC), PFC (Power Finance) and Indian Oil. All of them, if bought during dips will give us more than 10% yield every year. Investing ₹1000 to get ₹10 as dividend is not as good as getting ₹100 for the same investment. But yes. The increase in share price, bonus shares etc are to be considered too.

Nice presentation. By the by, I have a doubt. Last week I short-straddled Nifty and Bank Nifty ATM Aug 25 expiry (only in paper trading). After that now Nifty went up 213 points and Bank Nifty 977 points. But both trades are in profit of Rs 526 in BN and Rs 5,137. In one of your video I heard that one should close short-straddle if there is a movement of more than 100 points. Otherwise, it would end up in a loss. But said trades are still in profit even after the variation of more than 100 points. Can please explain this fact?

For example:-
If a company set its
Record date as 21/7/22
Exdate as 20/7/22
then if i buy the company shares on 19/7/22 at 1:45 p.m and
sell on sell on exdate (20/7/22)

Concept wise - getting dividend in all months of year-good. But practically those who are looking for dividend alone, except IOCL other companies dividend yield is less than bank FD Interest rate. If one looking for dividend higher than FD, can consider REC Ltd, Castrol India also along with IOCL.

Sir, BANK FD 5% max. REC, SAIL, IOC, NMDC, Power finance corporations are at-least 10% dividend per year. In opinion look for president of India portfolio and cross check the dividend per year and select the good dividend stock, because those companies giving dividend to government of India (not for public) it means whatever the situation (even loss) they will not stop dividend . Please correct me if i am wrong. We learn from each other. Thank you.
