- The iPhone 11 was released more than 4 years ago, so in this video we revisit and review the iPhone 11 in 2023 to answer the question. Is it worth it? Don't get fooled though, even though the iPhone 11 is a very cheap and affordable iPhone, you might consider different options. Especially with iOS 17

There’s no way iPhone 11 doesn’t get iOS 18, Xr and Xs are the next ones to be dropped but my prediction is that they will get it as well because of how capable the A12 chip still is.
Rounded design is the most comfortable one. I'm still using my iPhone 11 and I still find it a nice phone, except for the reduced battery health.

It's the phone i'm using and i have to say i'm not changing it any time soon. I don't like the design of the newer iPhones (except maybe the mini ones). They're not confortable to hold and use. I still see it getting iOS 18 since droping it would probably mean dropping support for the SE 2020 too (since they share the same SoC) and i personaly don't think Apple would drop support for a barely 4yo phone, so my guess is they will both lose support and stay on iOS 18 as their final OS version.
I just bought my 11 two days ago for 250 dollars. I never buy the newest model because even if it’s a monthly payment this girl will never spend 1000 dollars on a phone in a world full of tech. I love it so far and the cheapness makes having my Apple product that much better!!

I just bought iPhone 11 for $250. So far so good, the 4G LTE fast enough for me, expect degraded battery health if you're planning to buy secondhand. I recommend 82-87% battery health is still a good buy
@@urCrazyCHanDU battery is okay I’ll be honest I feel like it could be better but I have a bad habit of getting stuck on tiktok all day long. Back up is great. And if your not on the phone 24 hrs a day so is battery!

dude, iPhone 11 is a phenomenal device. I switched from a midrange Samsung over to it when my motherboard randomly died on me. The experience is so much cleaner, and that camera quality ROASTS anything I’ve used before. I paid 400€ flat for my old Samsung used, and I paid 180€ for this iPhone 11 back in April (2023).
Samsung's A 73 and S series like s22 were options too right?
@muhammedzayn27 tbh idk what kind of samsung this guy had and it was that bad for 400 euros, he proably had some samsung he overpaid for by a lot. In my country you can literally go on second hand apps/sites and you can find a sealed in box unopened s22 for 400 euros. And that has beautiful 1080p Amoled 120hz display, USB Type C with 25w fast charging, and 50MP 8K camera, phone that will easily last you 4 years even if you buy it now.
The rounded edges is actually better and more comfortable to hold than the squared off edges of newer models.. Apple actually went backwards in design from the 11. The iphone 11 is still the best designed iPhone

Nah, the 11 will for sure have at least still ios 18, the a13 bionic is powerfull and the xr stilll has ios 17 so I dont see a reason why they would cut both the ip xr and 11.

Definitely worth it for 300 USD you get 90% of any newer iPhone Experience, I've just changed my iPhone 11 battery with new one from apple after 3 years of use. It is ready to serve for years to come. battery is great again and in bar with iPhone 14. iPhone SE sucks comported to iPhone 11 on a deal

I hold on to my devices ,even if it becomes discontinued……there always use for it…..the every year, or every other year upgrade for me is NO MORE….
iPhone 11 and Xr are rated at same 625 brightness nits per Apple tech specs site. Think you might just have crappy Xr or maybe aftermarket display to compare it to. Anyhow the display is just alright, I agree. I just picked it up and would have went with an OLED device and I could have found a good deal on slight newer phone. Not much of an upgrade over Xr aside from newer chip, and dual cameras.
Bought one brand new last week on bill pay for 24 months.
So i have an iphone 11 with battery percentage (75%) and it may decrease after the update too. I really wanna update it to ios 17 but i am afraid of the battery draining or heating issues mainly.
My avg screen time is around 4-5 hrs with around 25-35 % still left at the end of the day. Should i update now or should i wait a month or 2?

I know a couple people that have one and no major issues battery has took a hit which is expected because it’s a 4 year old device with advanced software the fact that it’s still usable says a lot

Is it still good and reliable now? I prefer Samsung with Oled and 5G ,but around the same price Samsung A series, more likely A54, will prob not last long I heard. Or should I just wait for ip15 release and consider ip 13? If so how much price drop should I expect from ip13 will it below?
Late response but you should get the ARE if all you care about is software support because all Samsung phones have 4 years of software out of the box so you will get 3 more years of support than the iPhone 11.

In my opinion, if you’re choosing between the XS and the 11, I’d go for the XS, on the understanding that it’s probably not going to get iOS18. Why the XS? OLED and 3D Touch are 2 very good reasons. I’ve had my XS for about 15 months (it replaced an iPhone 7), and absolutely love it.
I get why someone would choose the xs over an 11. But imo the 11 is a better pick. If someone has an older iphone like you for example the 7, then you basically dont care if it has oled or lcd. And 3d touch, well, after the xs apple discontinued it so it wont get any new features. Why do I think the 11 is better? Well it has a better battery life, then it has an ultra wide cam and it has a13 bionic which most likely will have one year longer support.
@@martinblazek1090 The 8s and X lose support this year. If they continue in this vein, it might be the XS/XR and 11s next year. Let’s face it, we just cross our fingers and hope for the best.
I was considering swapping to a 13 Mini when my XS lost support - had to use a 6 for about a month, and didn’t mind the size as much as I thought I would. The only things letting it down were the old iOS and the fact that I couldn’t pair my Apple Watch or Mum’s hearing aids, which run on the 7’s iOS but not on the 6’s.
apple turned off the 3d touch on old models.
If I were to choose between xs and 11, I would choose 11, with larger battery improved camera and has a night photo capability on the main cam, A13 bionic chip, 12 mp front cam tham 7 on the xs, the only compromise is the liquid retina lcd display, but the other specs of iphone 11 I will definitely choose this phone over the xs
