I didn't cry, though I felt sad. Especially the beginning as it was looped in the game. It feels like...you lose someone dear and you feel guilty of not having been able to do better for that person.
Still crying ended this game in 2009 and now listning to its music on 2022 ...

I thought this was beautiful. It made me emotional too because it stoked up a lot of memories I've had with the series, and reminded me of how important HOTD has been to my life. Well done.

@@trexx45 During COVID, I suddenly had this crazy idea that I would remake THODT from the ground up in Blender, as a cinematic short. I know the series now is the butt of poor voice acting jokes and dialogues, but I'd remake it the way I remember it in my childhood: scary and emotional. Something like a cross between Resident Evil and John Wick. I gave up after a while because I couldn't find the original 3d models that I could use as reference.
I'm glad I found your channel because now I HAVE THE WILL TO LIVE! Hearing that epic music, I knew it deserves to be in a film. A few days back I completed and uploaded a short test for my HODT. If I can complete the "Attract" short, I'd like to your your music in it. What do you say?

I don't know why but love first two house of the dead games, they feel so connected together, with same cheesy dialogue stuff.
Well, the second one was made 2 years later on 1998, so it looks like they definitely had the story connected in mind. And even though I like those as well, 3&4 IMO are the peak of the games, and Scarlet Dawn is a worthy sequel (almost a rebirth of a final trilogy, which they have in mind).
@@trexx45 3rd and 4th games i enjoy but problem is time skips in both of them from 2nd game, just seem to me made 4th and scarlet dawn which feels more like direct continuation of story from house of dead 1 and 2.
the only problem we know for fact throneheart is still alive by end of house of the dead 3 which last game in continuty!
So i imagine, story will end with the next game not much left go with it.
Another funny thing is resident evil getting just about as over top as house of the dead games now with riddiculous mutations and stuff.
