Still exploring the old videos. I still get surprised by the new levels of amazement I get from watching them. After seeing this, I went immediately to watch a live version and found that this cover is almost perfect in musicianship. Dany seamlessly services the guitar, the piano AND the vocals (Love you Dany!). Pau plays the drums part to uncanny perfection ... as always (Love you Pau). And Ale ... dear Ale ... she correctly goes note by note and even does the pick - fingers - pick - fingers swaps like if it was an everyday thing when she NEVER plays until recently) with a pick! Its a Mansion guitar from Mansion Works based in UK. Matt Bellamy is a co-owner. That mustard yellow is one of its kind as the company does not produce guitars in that shade. They made it only for Dany.
Matt asked Dany - what is your favourite colour - yellow - what kind of yellow - mustard.

As with other videos, I see there are a bunch of the clueless who just couldn't keep those blasted digits from hitting the keyboard. Who are they? Try the ones who can't get it through their skulls that The Warning is an established entity.
First, and foremost, The Warning is a band dedicated to their creative expression through music. That is to the exclusion of the desires of listeners. They hope you like it, but won't change so that you do. That is called selling out (selling out is a bad thing... in case you don't know).
Second, all you who say they need this, or should change that, are assuming they are sheeple, (like yourselves?) wanting to make it big by doing what the industry has established will work to attract audiences. They are not involved in "the music industry", and are not competing for a slice of that pie.
They are three sisters who, by good upbringing, super natural talent, and fierce dedication to their craft, are creating new music across a fairly wide spectrum of genres. In so doing, they are attracting like-minded individuals whose eyes are open wide enough to see what's really going on. If you're looking for mainstream elements to be added in order to "improve" their presentation, I humbly suggest you go back to the mainstream and listen to what "the music industry" has successfully convinced you is good.
Thankfully, because they've heard it all, The Warning can handle your heartless comments. It just sickens me to think that you would like to be told some of the things you've said about something you feel really good about. After all, you are only treating people the way you want to be treated... Right?

holy.... I'm a fan now... so let me do the math... Ale was 9, Pau 12, Dany 14?????? WHAT THE HECK?????? all total prodigies.... insane....... and pau and ale singing harmonies while playing those parts (MOSTLY ALE.... for those who don't know... it's EVEN tougher to sing and play bass than guitar or drums, and it's already very tough on drums and guitar.... because on bass you think of bass parts with the part of your brain that thinks of melodies.... and singing requires that you focus on singing with that part of your brain, so you have to learn to play what is essentially a single note melodic instrument (it's only one octave lower than guitar after all), and it's much much more of a challenge to learn to do both well.
Wow... I also was BLOWN away by ale's bass playing on the the muse tune they performed at their school... super tough bass part played insanely well.

They are all skills layered ontop of eachother. its not any more difficult on one drums , bass or guitar. Music is practice and dedication. These girls have had a great musical and performance education. They have worked and practiced hard for their "gift". It wasnt given

Perhaps so, but can think of a dozen bass players that are the lead vocalists in their bands, Lemmy, Geddy, Blackie, Paul McCartney, Sting, Bootsie Collins, Gene Simmons. not so uncommon. Its mind coordination and natural once one gets the feel and hang of it. Many drummers as well are the lead singers in their bands. What these girls have is an inate ability to write CATCHY tunes, and Dany and Pau can sing and SING well. Best band in YEARS

    • @MrSudeepdas
      @MrSudeepdas Před rokem +6

@@craigbutterfield592 I would start with Jack Bruce of Cream, the original power trio.
However these names that we are discussing just reinforces the point as to how difficult it is to sing as a bassist. I can tell from my own experience when I tried while playing bass for my college band a long time ago. Of course, I am nowhere close to Alejandra.
Assuming there has been 1000 rock bands of acceptable standards from Cream till now we can probably think of 30 or 40 such groups (with a singing bassist) which is 3% or 4%.
That puts Alejandra in an exclusive club.
Same thing with Paulina, who is the feminine avatar of Phil Collins.
What struck me at first viewing was how comfortable they were with their instruments at such a young age. Add to that their gift of singing and Paulina's songwriting ability.
Its been a privilege to have followed their journey so far.
Now the main question is whether they can make it big because as they say "There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip".
Just hope that nothing goes wrong for The Warning.

@@MrSudeepdas I am in their court. As far as I am concerned best band in decades. Every song they do is excellent. Not certain what other bands I could say EVERY song. As regards bass playing singers and drummers, there are many. Typically there is a vocalist in a band. Not about to make a list of the top 100, but I could easily.

Without a doubt this is the most talented band I have seen for being under 20. And plenty of over 20 bands are jealous af cuz they wish they were this good. I am personally friends with a drummer that is in a band that's very popular on the heavy scene I'm not gonna drop names but he has played on tours with lamb of God and slip knot and Slayer and I had him listen to these ladies and his response to this song was and I quote "Holy fuck they can play some Rock man"and he is impressed by the drummer and her perfect posture and timing. Girls you are headed to the top don't let haters bother you they are the ones that listen to pop anyway. A mainstream popular professional drummer thinks you are great so any negativity is some jealous bull shit. I plan on finding and buying any albums you have out today 💞🔥
