  • Today we put the LS to work subsoiling before some possible Rain comes in. We are hoping to get what little moisture we can get deeper down into the subsoil as possible. This is the first time we have ever used the Subsoiler/ripper for this purpose and with all 3 shanks. We were very impressed how well it handled this task. We cant wait to see the final results and how this may benefit our dry land.

Your making forward progress! 👍 Great idea to open the soil up right before a rain to get more of it to be absorbed deeper. 👍

Yes it has helped I'm a city boy from Miami and the lord has relocated me to Dallas and has led me to farming and real estate. I know something big is about to go down and America is not ready. But I see the birth pains if you know what I mean. God Bless

It is a W&A brand. It is a fairly old unit. Look around see if you can find a used one maybe. Just make sure it is not too big. Good luck and thank you

Interesting, once it has rained will you then smooth the ripper trenches over with a chain link harrow or something?

I am going to watch it for now and see how much it will smooth out after each rain. With that said I may need to drag something across it to break it up a little and smooth it out. Thanks
