They are trying to build something to reach celestia and got a nail thrown at them instead

As far as i know, Sal Vindagnyr was built during the Archon War, from people who were running from the battle between Andrius and Decarabian, and they were destroyed by the time Khaenri'ah was being built, they're not from the first civilization. Khaenri'ah was also mentioned in Sal Vindagnyr's lore for some reason, maybe just to link them, since they're both a kind of "humanity pride". That guy Imunklaur, one of the Mondstadt ancestors, lived in Sal Vindagnyr and his words when he was leaving after he saw everyone dead was something like "There's a nation being built by the humans, maybe could them destroy the gods one day", meaning that, for purpose or not, Khaenri'ah is a kind of Sal Vindagnyr spiritual successor.
The murals with information, that seems to be about the primordial one, could be the reason they were destroyed by Celestial Nail.
After seeing the celestial nail, I thought each nation would have one.
Mondstadt: Dragonspine
Liyue: The Chasm
Inazuma: Missing
Sumeru: Missing (Though I still think it’s inside the tornado, regardless of what anyone says)
Fontaine: Missing
I mean, all nations must have some link to what happened during K’ahneria (however you spell it)
Inazuma got one in tsurumi island but we dont know where it is exactly, and ur right theres a nail in that tornado or should i say there was? Since the nail was used by king deshret so he can build the eternal oasis

But what I want to say is that they could be similar being/race like the primordial one? As it's mentioned in the Abyss siblings character card "Your home land was destroyed...." ?
Maybe the siblings have some sort of connection with the Original Teyvat.
According to some theories they might even be the rightful owners of teyvat

Nice Video , and do you have anny Theory why celestia/ the second whocame punish Khanrian royal with immortality , i mean in your theory you claim the reason why their were punish because khanrian royal and peaple discover the truth but why celestia not kill them and also Khanriah also bringing Abyss power and created durin and all giant monster that attack liyue ,mondstat ,Inazuma ,Fountain and maybe also Natland and snetznaya .
I cant think of a reason, but im pretty sure celestia knows what they're doing
