Villagers certainly aren't humans in Minecraft. They don't look like humans, and we can't understand them. Their behavior is very simple. Zombies look exactly like Steve but they are all dead. Steve is the only human alive, struggling for survival all alone... this song fits the lonely theme of Minecraft perfectly. Btw I'am talking about old, classic Minecraft.
I'm actually kinda glad it only plays in creative mode. The memories that come back to me when I listen to this remind me of my superflat worlds, and the opposite is also true for survival worlds.
C418 was like a contemporary Mozart. His composition of songs in unrivalled and it’s so sad he stopped making songs for Minecraft. Sometimes, I wonder what other masterpieces I’d hear in minecraft if he had stayed.
Correction: he wanted to keep making Minecraft music, and actually has a bunch of songs that have been ready to release for 2 years. Microsoft isn't interested because they'd rather keep making the game worse.
and thats what i lovve about it. you build something in creative mode and thinking "maybe some day someone will see this world" but in truth you're the only person
Holy shit I want this to happen, and as the song ends, it shows your peaceful body in a coffin, closing, and being buried, and the song ends on your grave with flowers.
C418 is a genius. I feel this almost... Godly? sense with his music. Am I looking too much into this? Maybe. But does anyone else feel what I'm talking about? It's like the heavens themselves talk through his music.
I know what you mean. To me it's the excitement and nervousness of discovery, the feeling of completion after doing something important, not knowing what's gonna happen next even if you think you can predict it, all the while making you want to push farther and farther just to see what's next. To me, it's life cheering us on through the existential dread of possibilities
I remember downloading these huge expansive worlds people had made and just flying through them exploring what all they had offered, seeing the insane amounts of detail they put in with this song in the background. Pretty sweet.
I hope C418 realizes what he has created. He, completely alone, crafted some of the most fitting, unique, creative, and impactful pieces of music for video games the world may ever hear for the rest of time. I hope he is proud of that fact, and I hope he continues on to make even better music.
This game is incredible, I can't find any other way to describe it. It is indescribable how happy playing it has made me, whether alone or with friends, it has helped me in difficult moments or simply in moments when I am bored. Sometimes I stop playing it for a while but eventually I come back to it. I love Minecraft ❤
Lost one of my best friends in a car accident yesterday. He was a Minecraft pro when it came to builds. This song will always connect me with him and the memories we share
this is bringing back feelings i havent felt in a long time. like how i looked at minecraft like it was some lost and abandoned world. one that hasnt been explored in thousands of years. i saw opportunity. i was never any good at surival so i would just fly around in creative. and my imagination let me have all the fun i needed. I have a love/hate relationship with this track. Not because its bad, no. Its really fucking good. I just have so many depressive memories of playing creative on my ps4 to drown out everything, only to get more numb. So this music is both calming and numbing. Luckily im starting to disassociate this song with those times so i can appreciate it more
I know what you mean. I get a sense of nostalgia with a lot of classic Minecraft music, but also loneliness and a feeling of emptiness. Considering that the music was designed for a game where you are essentially a speck of dust in an endless sandbox, the music does its job. A little too we’ll if you ask me 😅
I know exactly what you mean. When ever I hear this song I remember 1.8 and the legacy Minecraft editions, and how much time I spent in them. And how lonely I was doing so
To all you people who can relate to this comment and felt lonely, I went through the same too but without Minecraft, I grew up playing alone in my Nintendo DS and have mixed feelings about those memories. We can keep the good things from our past close to our hearts, it makes more sense than you think to both love and hate something (or someone), also nostalgia and sadness usually go hand in hand. Hope you're doing well now, and if not, you'll be better soon if you commit to. Be your own Steve in real life. Good luck to everyone ✌🏼💯🌄...

This is why Minecraft discs should have base game music drops as well. Cause like how many times are you gonna be in creative just listening to the music. @@LauLessPariah This is why we can't have nice things
I remember growing up, playing minecraft on my ps3, and hearing this soundtrack everytime I play the game. This is easily the best C418 soundtrack for minecraft in my opinion.
Same. Its one of the rare games where my brothers and i sat together in front of the ps3 to play and this song brings back these memories
Not an opinion. Just a fact
i tried to find this version for so long😢 finally❤
Right
As a player that enjoyed and still enjoys building houses in creative mode: this hits different
SO IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT LOVED THIS TRACK… brings back so many memories
nostalgia hits me that hard but i cant get back
so relatable, literally whenever i hear aria math starting to play, i turn of all mob noises and just stay still and appreciate the beauty of this song.
This song makes me cry and even give back so much locked memories since 10 years ago 😭
this will blow up one day
💥
this is the one song in minecraft that i've been looking for for ages now
BRO same
As a german, i cannot be proud of much in the past. But i am proud of C418 for making these godly tracks back then.
Эээх... Вспомнил свой первый мир в Майнкрафте, такой ностальгией накрыло
The image of a man on the beach playing the Minecraft soundtrack on a piano on fire seems oddly fitting
In my last minute when I am about to die a want all those gaming memories to be pulled up with this masterpiece playing
The sacred musical sheet plays as the piano is on fire.
When the music plays, but you're committing mass genocide on villigers with a tnt cannon.
The first piano closeup syncs well with the music
Best Music Ever Existed in the video games HISTORY
Creativity has no limits
Man, I know Minecraft wants to modernize the soundtrack with their newer songs, but I really love C418's simplistic style. Somehow evokes so many more emotions than the newer stuff despite using way fewer sounds.
Finally I can rest knowing I have found GOOD math
Notch: its a funny block game dont go too crazy on the soundtrack
c418:
This music brings back nostalgia and reminds you of the time you spent in Minecraft since your childhood
Creative mode main theme
Damn this song so fire it lit the piano up
That’s the joke..
The days…, where you played on your dads phone, with your sister on the wii, it was just a timeless memory, this song always remembers me of that time. Just a masterpiece to listen to
Do you ever wanna ascend to the heavens when listening to this banger?? 🗣🔥🔥
This is C418 irl making aria math
The effort C418 put in the soundtrack is huge. He made so many songs, yet we remember them all. I am forever grateful that he made this masterpiece
i have great memories playing console edition minecraft and this song just brought back a wave of nostalgia
5 yr old me building the biggest house made out of diamonds while listening to this banger:
The song that still sounds good when done in a different genre
C418 is an amazing musician and his music is one of the few things I find genuinely relaxing.
This song ages like wine! And it’s a delightful soundtrack! 10/10
Volume is never enough when this starts playing...
Aria math has simultaneously given me The feeling of longing for something and an immense amount of Hope
All my creative memories are flooding back to my head. This song is beautiful.
pov: the sun is rising over your flat world in your ps3
Came for the music stayed for the music.
