When you watch truly professional chefs work you realize you have to do a ton of extremely different techniques very quickly and perfectly and when something goes wrong you have to be able to do all those same techniques differently but perfectly. The grand scheme of being someone that is supposed to do everything perfectly in any situation, it boggles the mind. They are the Delta Force of the culinary world.

Gastronomy is tough on so many levels
Before you enter the the world of culinary, you must understand the difference between homemade recipe and chief recipe. You must learn the art of homemade cooking coz it may help you to become a great chief

When you bake tart shell use something heavy like rice and blind bake them . It's the basic. Omg. Marco must be like bruh

@@rdu239 yup, and the pastry cook also brushed the shell with apricot preserve to make a crisp finish as shell cools - then, add custard to bake. as customer noted, there is a lot of shell - could be trimmed from the top with a paring knife, before first bake

The dishes feel so simple. Fish and chips is street food for me and the way she made it, beer batter, tartar sauce and chips is how I make it at home. I have watched the selections for Masterchef us and Australia and none of these contestants would have made it through with those dishes to the opening round.

@@breadiztasty It is too simple for a final four elimination dish. If they were assigned those dishes, then they should have been assigned something more complex. I guess what I mean, in the end, it is seems this series has lower quality requirements from contestants than the other two shows.
