If it's onky a money matterthe Aggies coach is staying on board in College Station. The Aggies are second to no other US university when it comes to budgetary issues!
Matt is so uninformed about lots of sports topics. The Mondo situation is different. He couldn't make the USA team so he had to compete for Sweden. In that time he's become the best in the world. So he's not switching teams now.
He didn’t have to compete for Sweden. And he could’ve made team USA. He wanted special treatment and an automatic spot instead of having to compete to make it. Defending Mondo shows a complete lack of knowledge or objectivity of the situation
@@johnnythropscaut7920 Of course he could have made team USA in 2024 but not in 2018 when he started to compete in elite international track and field competitions. He was the 5th best pole vaulter in the US and only the top 2 guys make it. Why take a chance and miss out on the Olympics when you know you have a guaranteed spot on the Swedish team? Makes no sense. 😂
@@LA_FOCUSYou just proved his point. He wanted a guaranteed spot. Whether you try to earn a spot on a team you would rather play for or take a guaranteed spot on a secondary team is a matter of personal opinion but his point about wanting a guaranteed spot is absolutely valid.
@@AnthonyJ504 What point exactly are you referring to? Mondo knew he wouldn't make the team. He was an 18 year old kid when he chose to join Sweden. Would you really rather him try out for the US team and miss out on the Olympics instead of actually making the Olympics with the Sweden team? I don't think people realize how many US citizens compete for other countries. The LSU gymnast Finnegan competes for the Philippines. There are only so many spots and the US is obviously a very dominant country in most Olympic sports so athletes compete for other countries instead of sitting on their couches.

I was pulling for Edmonton and TX A&M last night. Both lost 😢.
No idea what Edmonton is but always for anyone playing Tennessee.

Go Vols baby 🎉
Congrats on your first. Hopefully another 100 years before #2. 😉 GEAUX TIGERS!
It was interesting seeing the curse of #1 seed being broken anyway.
