- #hoghunting #deerhunting I think we picked the hottest weekend of the year to go up to the property . We did a overnight hog hunt but we didn’t see anything. Good bless you for making this video. You definitely have to have a rights of passage hog hunt in Texas. Hog hunting is something our ancestors practiced and it was traditional. Wild hog is a beautiful tasting meat. I told my wife she has to try it to understand the difference from supermarket pork. Brother do you have any videos showing how to gut a hog from scratch? Also, it is awesome to see the young brothers putting in that work. Keep up the great work. Peace

There's a way to make those box blinds air-tight where wasps can't get in. It takes a little more work building them on the front-end, but it can be done. I learned a method of building box blinds from a guy who was an Alabama Power journeyman. The big thing is wrapping the whole build in overlapping sheets of tar paper and tacking the tar paper down. If you can get the roof on tight and the windows fitted snug, nothing gets in. Rubber flashing will work to get the windows sealed up.

Though this year first time ever we got Bobcats coming right into the back yard where my 5 yr old Twin Great Grandsons play & swim in the pool.. Them things get hold of you they'll slice you up quick... Papa got the sidearm, waiting for em to come near our neighborhood again,, it will be, lights out.. Bossman LOVE that 6.2 set-up!! Hog killa yep yep!! My 16 year old Daughter used 5.56 for hogs and a .243 for deer and SHE'S a dead eye shot. But I've had her in stand sense she was 5 years old..
Good follow through on the third shot. Slow steady squeeze on the trigger and slow release after the shot break the muzzle.
I was watching CZcams on my TV and ran across your video...I love to see hard working country men...What a blessing. I was raised in the city the DMV so I really missed out on country living..My mom was from South Carolina so they did teach me how to cook some good country food though.
