- Season 2 of LFATW begins with a series of studio logo showcases that will take place in the European Union.
The first episode I'm covering for this season is based on a Southeastern European country that was broken into six socialist republics since 1992. The films that were produced in Yugoslavia had a bit of history during the time it was bound for a breakup at the end of the Yugoslav Wars. 75% of the logos seen in this episode are somewhat preserved in award-winning films, and some TV-movies. After the breakup, they would still be shown in Republic states like Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro (which Yugoslavia is now referred to as today, or what people call it "Former Yugoslavia"). NOTE: I may be cheating on choosing this country because the film companies that made these films listed above deserves more attention in CLG Wiki. Plus, I added Croatia in the intro because, while it's listed in the European Union, it is one of the countries that were formed into Republic states that was originally part of Yugoslavia. From the late 60s onwards, Yugoslavia took over Spain as the place to go for Hollywood for cheap location shots and expert local crewspeople. That allowed some studios to do high-profile productions, some even starring American and European film stars. This explains the huge amount of logos with 1970s-80s aestethics. Before the Balkans War there was more industry in Yugoslavia than Emir Kusturica! The place was thriving.
Then again, it's remarkable how quickly the Balkanic film industries have recovered momentum after years and years of conflict.

I ripped some Serbian home video logos from the mid-2000s and one uses an exempt from a song in Halo 2.
