Poland is now focusing on the 2023 World Men's Handball Championship along with Sweden. Cities will be held in:
Gdańsk, Gliwice, Łódź, Katowice and Wrocław. Will be played in January 2023.
Same thing two years later, Poland will co-host the FIBA EuroBasket in 2025 alongside Latvia (Riga), Cyprus (Limassol), and Finland (Helsinki). Katowice will be the EuroBasket host city.
