We appreciate your dedication to teach us the different things you encounter in your HVAC journey. You have the most diverse videos in the trade. I like how you're not scared to work on anything. Thanks Rick!
I appreciate that!
Youre one of the realest dudes on YT Rick. Most people are just trying to make a buck at the end of the day even if they do make good content, but I don't feel that way about you and I have learned a lot from your videos even after a few years in the industry. Much love brother.
I really appreciate you noticing that I try to do my best. I think it comes down to enjoying what I do, and the natural instinct to do it, right.
Always feels good when the customer offers you some free product as a tip. Keep up the good videos.
That’s the biggest upside of working at butcher shops
Season greetings to you Rick and the family🇱🇨
You need to add a seal off outside of cooler where the conduit enters the cooler it is designed to stop air from flowing from one area to another
Thank you Rick for your videos and info. There have been numerous times I've been in the field and I recognized something about equipment that you and Chris have informed me about. Whether it'd be design flaws or repair techniques. You guys are a blessing to us techs. Also, please thank your wife for me, for sharing her time ,from you, to teach us and make these videos.
Very welcome. Thank you for watching them.
Rick, I always enjoy watching your videos !
Great Video Rick! Love my refrigeration. Learn something new everytime I watch your videos. Hope you have a great New Year. BTW I’m on call too, lol.
Your to kind! Thank you!
You can't ever pass up a Root Beer Float up 🎉
Good little vid Rick ... That insulation trick was pretty neat ... I and others really appreciate the effort used to make these entertaining & educational vids as well as all the other guy's I watch ... So thx
Thank you for sharing your videos and you have great new year 👍
I thought rigid conduit was supposed to be used in walk-ins. Maybe because of the age. Happy New Year Rick.
I see all types of conduit, plastic metal, you name it. My area is known for not doing things extravagant.
Amazing 👏 craftsmanship 👏 Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks so much for checking it out!
Keep up the hard work Rick
Thanks Bill!
If you want to see something exciting that is sort of HVACR related check out some videos about the MRI quench.

Should be EMT run in the cooler do to condensation and water infiltration. Thxs for the vids!
Thanks for all the informative videos have a happy and safe new year
Happy New Year brother stay safe videos keep them going
Good video. With oil on the override stem cap it's probably the override stem leaking might need to just make sure the stem is back seated all the way ( in my experience). tephlon tape the treads and reinstall cap should do it on most of those nuisance leaks.
I about broke the valve off getting it replaced. The seal was completely smashed. I got the new one in there and it sealed right up.
I really enjoy the videos. Thanks for all the effort. I hope you have a happy new year. 🎊🎈
I love your videos especially the supermarket gear and the diversity of other equipment you service
Happy New year!
Same to you! Thank you!

Happy new year!
Just retired from doing air-conditioning and refrigeration for 40 years and I really loved working on the grocery store Rack systems we didn't have electronic leak detectors wsy back when I was just getting started only halide torches and leak detector soap and individual condensing units for refrigerated cases I appreciate the videos and seeing how diversified you are that's the way we were and I know what you mean about the ice cream machines and the kack of proper disassembly and proper cleaning and putting it back together and not putting a rune up kit in on a regular basis had a blind lady in a bldg that ran a concession stand and she had yhe cleanest soft-serve machine i have worked on and it was broke if she called or the yearly preventative maintenance it's sad that people that can see don't care or take pride in the job they are doing just because they don't like it anything that I did I did the best i could and usually more keep up the good work and video HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thanks HVAC Brother for sharing! The torch was going out when I started in 1995, I didn't get my first crappy leak detector until 97 I believe, I tried the Tiff, that was junk, looked at the CPS - yellow toy, junk lol and finally I got the first Dtek heated diode detector they put out, I ran a H10 for a long time and still have it.
Nicely done. Happy New Year, Rick!
Thanks, you to Steve!
I'll definitely look for you in Chicago

If you want retail employees to keep the lights on, put a sticker or sign or a light lock
Or remove the switch 😀. Fortunately it’s not my store or my money so it’s hard to make a big deal about it. All I can do is tell the store manager and let them press the issue. Otherwise they can pay us to come back and do things again, which is what they do now for a lot of other things.
You do great work Rick. Love your videos happy new year to you!
Thank you! Have a great new year as well!

In a recent video, you mentioned that if you can do this kind of job, the possibilities of what you can do are essentially endless. Totally agree, my company has me doing just about everything. I appreciate you and the random nuggets of wisdom you get out to us. I wasn't lucky enough to get into an apprenticeship, so I'm learning the ropes on CZcams.

Hey man love the vids. Just started in hvac a few years ago. Learned a lot from you and HVACR videos. Yall are legends. Appreciate the hardwork and dedication you guys put into the educational videos
Thanks brother! Means a lot!
Good deal Rick, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's to you and your family. By the way those wire nuts on the lighting in the reefer, are junk, those are the wire nuts that the electric industry first came up with and are absolute garbage to work with, I don't blame the electrician for being sloppy not twisting the wires correctly, because with those type of wire nuts they would always pop off the connection and I would have to tape every connection, true story, 1980 type wire nuts, total crap.
Interesting. I was always worried about the floppy, soft outer, cover wire nuts.
You typically use plumbers putty for that?
You can. Anything that will stop the flow of air would work better than nothing at all.
God bless Rick, hows your body holding up after all these years in the trade? I notice you use kneepads and matts and cranes etc but any long term problems? Just took an office job at 31 in management but ive had alot of damage from the military
I’m 48, my eyes have changed even after having Lasik in 2005, I have tinnitus in my ears but otherwise everything’s pretty good.
OO is that an 87Vmax i see in the studio?
87V not the max.
Are those light bulbs LED?
Yes they were.
I've always enjoyed your content. As it very much pertains to my daily experiences. I love the sarcasm, whitty comments.....and who doesn't love a good ole worsh of a coil. Hahahaha.....you definitely have one of the best channels in the industry. Lots of respect for you and your channel.
You and Mike B are just two of my most supportive viewers. Thanks man!
electricians are lazzy I tell them to seal it up but they say you do it
