Tom Franek plays the piano backwards to the tune of Scott Joplins the Entertainer.
There are not many crazy pianists that have proven the flexibility, ambidexterity, and acrobatic coordination of this kind in the performance of the piano: to play backwards, upside down, and in various awkward positions while maintaining the musical integrity and flow of the piece. That's why I wanted to take on this challenge, and do a crazy piano stunt, playing the piano backwards, upside down, adding in a bit of crazy piano player fun. It's a unique piano trick reminiscent of Jerry Lee Lewis-like showmanship. I hope you'll enjoy a bit of flair and coordinative talent. Something to test the limits!
"The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin has always been one of my favorite piano pieces, and to many it has become an instantly recognizable classic, and the theme song from the movie "the Sting" with Paul Newman and Robert Redford. I wanted to take this piano classic, an iconic ragtime piece, and put my own spin on it, literally.

Tom is a true entertainer. You can see how much he enjoys making people happy. He is also an excellent singer. We've seen him several times and always look forward to seeing him again. And he is genuinely nice! 😃🎹🎶
