I managed 16 years with Prestatyn, who started in the northern half of the 2nd division, so it was nice to see you doing something out of your comfort zone with a "smaller" style club. It's very rewarding watching the rise, isn't it. Well done on your achievements, and I'm interested to see how another 5-10 years would pan out!! Keep up the good work, fella!!

I lived in llantwit for 5 years, loved it there, also frampton lane is because they have three fields and the locals call it “frampton” which everyone goes to the Astro to play there
As of you got llantwit major. That’s where I live. Originally from Birmingham. Moved to Exeter for 8 years and now settled in llantwit. They where denied tier one license due to there facilities & stands, hence the move to Jenner park in the save.
I also lived in llantwit, now settled in England but I liked the single stand. When I was younger me and my mates would go to the sandy astro pitch, got to love it
Luke as a Rennes fan since 15 years I swear it's a super team with a top project using youngsters from their academy. Plus, they don't have a foreign owner spending millions every years, but a local owner (a billionaire one 😅) which bought the club in 1998 when they were about to bankrupt.
It could be a good save idea for your next rebuild as they are struggling this year 😏

Luke mate! Have to say, love all the content you do, this tops the lot for me. Admittedly I do have a soft spot for build a nation type saves but unlike most FM content creators having the whole process being condensed into one video was great entertainment. Wouldn’t be apposed to you adding something like this to your agenda and even if you wanted to make it 2-4 part videos. Hopefully the views and likes are convincing. Keep it up chief 💚

I live not far from Llantwit Major, and your move to Jenner Park is actually Barry Towns stadium made famous by John Fashanu's reign as chairman which started Barry Towns donwfall, they were the TNS before TNS was a thing

When I do a build a nation save I try to manage a few clubs in the league & improve the standard quicker. Making a few clubs pro from semi definitely helps. Free transferring youth players helps the lower leagues. Select all Divisions from the nation. Have as many small loan clubs that give them money each year. Lots of tricks I use 👍🏻
This was one of my first saves in FM24 - Build a Nation (Wales), LOVE YOUR CONTENT. Please do another 10 years or until you have won champions league.

I guess day 1 of wishing to Luke and Omega Dad do a rebuild of: Sigma Olomouc in First Czech league, Once a club that belonged to the top of Czech football, they never won the league and always finished behind Sparta and Slavia Prague.
In the past they have had some interesting stints in European cups, for example in the 1991/92 season they reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup where they lost to Real Madrid 1:2, while in the previous round they knocked out the then great Hamburg SV with a 6:2 result. They are currently in crisis, with a few players over 30 years old, and the club is expected to be bought by a new owner who has, for example, the Spanish second league club Leganes under his belt. I would also mention for example the stadium which has been used several times as a stadium for the Czech national team.

I'd recommend checking out Second Yellow Card for more info on how build a nation saves work. You can only do so much with just your club, especially as you climb the coefficients.

I’m actually doing a save in Wales rn with Airbus UK, 6 seasons in and we just won the league for the 4th time in a row and managed to reach the europa league round of 16. Leverkusen were too strong tho.
Got a surprise shirt from my friends as a birthday present and now I am managing Kelty Hearts in the 3rd division of Scotland. It's nice to play with a club you do not even know off😅

I started an unemployed to glory save and got my first job as manager of Briton Ferry in the same division, then went to Carrick Rangers and won the league 2 years in a row now im currently manager of Reims in Ligue 1 just won the europa conference league. Love the channel btw

Hey Luke, with competition reputation building its all about coefficient points over a 5 year period. I remember well from Northern Ireland save one bad year and lost automatic qualifying. Ideally you want to get in the top 15.

I done a building a nation save in Bosnia once and in my 3rd season I managed to get to the knockouts of the CL. The next season I got £24m in transfer budget, save to say that transfer window was chaos for a Bosnian side

A feature I would like to see in Football Manager is multiplayer. Shared leagues / instances that can have multiple human managed teams in, you'd only be able to manage 1 team at a time, but other teams in the league could be managed by your friends.

Well done and definitely there should be another 10 years. Guess you can get to around 15-20 and it will be very hard to improve other teams. I tried that multiple times by overspending on crap players from my league rivals, to provide them with extra money to build better squads, but it rarely worked as intended.
Was great to see some familiar names like Scott Twine, Ronnie Stutter or Will Lanksheer. Twine was a star man of my Aberdeen this year, but he cost me few millions there😂
