I used to hate cleaning windows and glass. Whenever I was detailing cars, I had one rule: NO GLASS! I always had streaks and smears left on windows every time I detailed my car no matter how hard I rubbed or scrubbed, and I was ready to quit the business. Then I learned about the best glass cleaning technique and products, and my life was changed forever!
I learned to use the two-towel method: one towel is for wiping up the dirt and glass cleaner, the second one buffs away any streaks and leftover mess. Just like that, all my glass came out crystal clear! I couldn't believe my eyes!
It's been a fun journey into the detailing world so far. What else will we learn together? Tune in for another installment of "Just The Tip!"

Great video... another great tip is when you do your final pass to make vertical strokes on one side (interior/exterior) and horizontal strokes on the other side. That way if you still have streaks you know which side of the class they are on
Whoever picks the music for these videos played the hell out of Need for Speed when they were younger.
Jen looks like she has a real happy positive personality.
Thanks for the amazing feedback!
One of the best video's actually so far! Jen is awesome at this!!!!
the biggest thing here is you have a garage the glass is cool to the touch so youre able to acheive this no problem but for a owner or a mobile detailer such as myself its sometimes hard to wash a car in a cool enviroment most of the time youre in a customers driveway right under the sun so you spray the product begin wiping and as the product decreases it dries almost instantly so youre stuck just spreading the streaks one way then the other but it doesnt really come off unless youre extra carefull and work a super small area at a time
Another CG good vídeo and with Jenn which is a big Plus.Keep it up Jenn
Jen just makes me happy!
Love the Jen videos!
We want and need more videos with her.

Great job Jen!
Thank you!
❤jenn
Thanks Jen
Great job with the video! I've been using the workhorse MF towel to apply the cleaning solution and waffle weave to finish. It works well but now you have me re-thinking the use of the workhorse. Might have to pick up more waffle weaves.
Great tip!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Love it never thought but two riel waffle weave method works great will definitely use on my truck
Cleaning Windows is drag, most people never seem to get it right. I would always use the same towel to wipe, and I ended up getting more window cleaner on my windshield. Now that we've discovered this ingenious method, wiping windows isn't so bad anymore.
Great choice of music with the NFS soundtrack ;)
thank's Jan
Question Chemical Guys: do you have a video or tips in general on how to clean the kushens of the side windows? I have a golf 7 which has been under a tree for a while and now the treesap has gotten into the kushens. I hope you guys can help me out!!
Great video! I have always hated doing glass and now it seems like a piece of cake.
She does a good job over there and if she is in the competition for best detailer, good job. I hate doing windows, mine never come out good, takes me 2 times to get it good.
Nice thanks
Thanks for watching!!
Top work Jen
Autobrite Direct I am unable to find AB's foam cannon in Canada. These were not sold in Amazon. Is there a place that you can suggest?
Chandy Motörhead hi there. You can order via our website here in the UK
Sweet Jenn... :)
My problem is it looks great but when you go outside on the sunshine then it looks like it has streaks all over
What camera and lens do you use ?
I always get micro fibers ribbed into the glass with the waffle weave towels.... No matter how hard or soft I rub on the glass.... Looks good till sun hits it, then it's a fiber mess! Any tips?
*rubbed
U go girl yay
Is it bad to use winded on the windshield ? Lol yes I am a noob 😪 but I just got into this and man dose it feel good to clean and detail your car
Great video. Two towel method works perfectly. :D
Hi there, it definitely works wonders! I'm just glad it makes it easier for all of us because I used to get frustrated when I would get streaks!
Yep, I agree. That's pretty cool. Thanks!
Nice to see a woman (other than myself) take pride in cleaning a car. Were you at ladies!!!!!
Jen is an excellent detailer! Jen and Nick are in competition for best detailer within Chemical Guys. My vote goes to Jen but don't tell Nick I said that!

-CG Javier
I am o glad she told us the towel was 24 x 16.
Great video! Question. Do you recommend a product to apply after cleaning your windows that will repel water? Like a wax or something?
Hey! Check out HydroSlick to add hydrophobic ceramic protection.
Can you use Jet Seal Matte on windows?@@ChemicalGuys
Jenn is too gorgeous!
Need for Speed music as background :)
Yesss i love it
NFS4: High stakes
soo much memories and hours spent there :D
Played It just days ago. childhood memories
I was going to leave the same comment. It is very fitting.
Does this product help remove waterspots from the windows? Or should I use a claybar for that?
Try using a magic eraser for the first part and followup with the waffle weave towel.
Jen brought me here, that red towel looks cool in the red car.
I clean mine with quick detailer and it works fine
I am going. crazy with streaks i did a lexus and the windshield look looks like fog we detail customer cars at the body shop we work at !ill try anything !thanks !
Hey!
Use the techniques in the video to help get streak free glass every time!
Thanks for watching, check back later today for a new video!
@@ChemicalGuys JUST USED IT WORK REAL GOOD !WINDOWS LOOK GREAT !THANKS A BUNCH !
From using microfibre towels cleaning the inside of my windows i have lots and lots of tiny fibres all over and i cant get them off. Anyone with any ideas im willing to try. HELP.
@chemicalguys my car glass have these water deposits.
I.e hard water spots.
How do I remove it!?
Please help
Hey there! Check out Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover to easily lift water spots before they can stain and etch the glass. If it has etched it will require a polish to restore clarity.

Always clean from the passenger side when you clean the drivers side. It allows you to reach all the way down without having the steering wheel in your stomach.
Ian Turney good tip!
thunderkat9503 common sense.
I have th CG Glass Cleaner Signature Series and you don't really have to use as much product as in the video, it's a really good, nice smelling window cleaner. I've already started using two towels for cleaning my windows after using just a MF towel for glass kept leaving streaks. Now I use a couple to a few sprays of the signature streaks on the glass, wipe off with the MF towel for glass, then I buff with a finishing cloth, 'cause I'm picky that way.
I would also like to add, again, this glass cleaner doesn't just not smell foul, it smells great, almost like some sort of candy and yet it does it's job excellent!
I use this to clean my car, but in direct sunlight it hazes up, so much so i have to wipe it with a microfibre cloth.. it always hazes despite wiping it off why is this?
I love you
Ok, I cannot lie...I came here to see Jen , lol
(need for speed) childhood songs...great
Too bad they didn't show the final result from inside.
Love you Jen you are So Beautiful!!😍😍👑👸
Literally the best glass cleaner I have ever used. I ordered like 5 of them
Rick Feeney has it got rain repellent??
Is this product safe on window tint?
Absolutely! Signature Series Glass Cleaner will not harm any window tint.
❤jenn
Thanks Jenn!
Broooooo that's NFS Hot Pursuit music
Dang
she really is adorable.
Horizontal or vertical
Hey! Use alternating directions for interior and exterior cleaning.
Nfs high stakes
Rain repellent ??
never really used glass cleaner products. always used a wet microfiber with soap and then another microfiber to dry streak free.
Hi Daniel, thank you for watching. Most of us grew up using Windex with paper towels, or newspaper. The worst part was the smell, secondly was the fact that it streaked no matter what you did. Glass cleaners are convenient because they're easy to spray, easy to buff off. The one aspect of glass cleaners that always baffled people was how to get rid of the streaks, most people will buff in circles, which essentially leaves streaks. We came up with a two towel method to combat this, and we encourage buffing in straight lines. Try it out sometime.
Chemical Guys Alex -
She broke the cardinal rule of windshield cleaning. When washing the interior of the windshield, always do it from the passenger seat. It makes it so much easier because you don't have the steering wheel in the way.
Thanks for watching. That's a great point, the steering wheel definitely gets in the way when washing the glass from the inside. Stay tuned, more great videos headed your way.
Anybody else just dig a woman in white pants?
I need to find a woman who enjoys doing stuff with cars! Where are you at ladies??
In the video :3
all the smudges and dirt on that window were intentionally put there
if you guys wanna do this for cheaper literally use windex and paper towels saves you 80$
you should do a video on it
Yea I love having paper towel lint all over my and my customers cars. Makes for totes repeat customers. Do you even detail bro? JV squad.
Since when did 2 towels and some window cleaner cost $80?
Carlito stick with something else. Detailing and finances aren't your strong suits
Good product, and that chick is fine.
Next time put her in a one piece swimsuit.
Micro bikini
More like a Micro Fiber Bikini lol
LOLS
She can wash my windows anytime.
I bet that shit is dirty with on comming traffic at night.
