Weird mac makes 1/4 semi deep too besides Cornwell, but snap on doesn’t. Weird thing is snap on makes 1/2 drive impact semi deep, but not in chrome. Yet they sell the three row trays

My Proto locking extensions are hot garbage - the female square end slips off everything very easily. I’ve measured mine and they’re all 0.010” larger across the square inner dimension than any other extensions in the shop. I’ve contacted them about it and never heard anything back. First and only time I’ll ever buy anything from Proto. Wish I could support USA by buying their tools but not if their support is nonexistent.
@@Code325 odd, I had a much better experience with a warranty, though you do have to go through Stanley if you don’t have an industrial supplier you can go through. My Proto impact locking extensions are identical to Mac and the other tool trucks, made in USA, and great. I don’t have Proto chrome locking extensions, but I have Mac and they are fantastic.
@@asmautollc I ended up getting Matco’s locking impacts. Very very similar in design but they fit my tools much better. It’s annoying to use a locking extension, only for the whole thing to fall off into an engine bay every time it’s pointed downward 😂

Interesting. I’ve never seen them, but I bet they are. MAC USA impact sockets are bulletproof.
