      Surely you might have figured it out by now but I personally use a small-medium sized sinker

      Uncle Revo Hey mate I have caught cod in irrigation channels, but only in some and not others. I look for weirs (downstream side is best) and in particular rocky banks, which are often found just below weirs to help hold the banks together.

    I have to disagree with your statement, saying a quiet presentation is better. A loud splash will have the cod interested . Cod being an aggressive fish will go and investigate what’s in its area. They are territorial fish . They attack either for food or get out of my area.

      Pretty sure holding line helps with birds nesting the line also which can be a pain.

      You put them back so you can catch them again and the fish wasn't size at the time of the video they have to be over 60cm now they have to be in between 55cm and 75cm anything under anything above must go back the fish he was catching in the video would be lucky to be 50cm at most
