This was on King of mask Singer, a contest in South Korea. Sohyang was reining queen 6 times on this show where you only remove the mask when you lose. I think this is where the nickname Queen Sohyang came from.
SoHyang hit every note in the fifth octave in this song! This is from a King of Mask contest which she won six times .More than any other female vocalist. Lots o of great songs in this series. The highest note I have heard her sing is a D6. This was in a song she wrote called. " Dream ".

Great great reaction lol you da man. in the first half of 2017, Sohyang appeared on MBC's King of Mask Singer as "Spirited Lady" for the show's 2nd anniversary and became the winner six consecutive times (Generation 53-58), making her the female singer with the highest number of consecutive wins ever achieved to that time (second highest overall) before losing her crown in July 2017 and departing from the show after appearing for 14 consecutive weeks. Yup! There are two sides to our brains and they can never agree when we hear Sohyang sing. One side says "Did I actually just hear someone sing like an alien?" and the other side says "There is _no way anyone_ can sing like that!" So the two sides argue and we are left to try and sort our wits out, as five minutes of time and space have warped in our brains, until we finally have to admit "Yes, this petite five foot four 100 pound woman just out sang everyone else on the planet!" It is stupefying no matter how many times you hear Sohyang sing. 🤔🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂
