- Finding enough time to produce videos is proving to be impossible at the moment. I have five videos in various stages of planning and development but it's going to be a while yet until I can get them over the line :(
In the meantime here is a quick jam in glorious 4K called "The Catalyst". It's the start of a longer composition and features the Moog Subharmonicon plus Moog Voyager, with a sprinkling of Yamaha Motif and Spectrosonics Stylus RMX. Check out my in-depth videos on both the Subharmonicon and the Voyager which I will leave a link to at the end of this video. - Hudba
Star travelling music ❤
The melody line, when it hit, wasn't what I was expecting but it's so perfect
Mojo is such an important quality to have. As you say, it's a catalyst that sparks ideas. My humble Yamaha Refaces have buckets of it.
I believe the greatest joy of making music is to be surprised by the result when a track is finished. 🤣
Gentle on the ears. Sweet blend with guitar as well.
For me you are one of the TOP10 synth music youtubers. Your music is pure tranquility and your reviews are precise and on the point. THANKS.
Agreed!
Elegant simplicity, I look forward to hearing more. I like this format, mentioning the compositional elements as they’re introduced.
I would love to be Fumbling with that Moog voyager in my Arsenal!
unbelievable that this gentleman has so few subscribers what a great channel this is
To me 27k is a ton of subs
A like a comment for the "little jam". Love it!
The Subharmonicon is a great synth. Superb track 🙏🏼
Reminds me Prodigy song , smooth video as usual ...
I really enjoy these short videos of yours with a bit of discussion and then a wonderful demonstration.
The sound of.... hardware... Gotta love it..
Great stuff, Tim. I really dig your content and it's worth the wait.
Thanks for this great music and demo, Tim. It is inspiring.
Great tune Tim!!! Beautiful work making the Sub H not sound like the ubiquitous approach most people take.
Thanks for the video! Love hearing your music.
Beautiful! I love how the motif guitar sounds blend in nicely with the Subharmonicon/Voyager atmosphere 😀
Lovely sounds, the Moog’s sound wonderful. Good to see the Motif XS being used too, I’ve just dusted mine off and put it into the rack. I’d forgotten how useful it can be and it still sounds great. Good video Tim, looking forward to more.
Great video-you should do more short (and sweet!) vids like this one!
splendid congrats!!!!!
I looove your improvisations
Beautiful piece 👏🏻👏🏻🎶
That sounded so nice !
Excellent track, thank you.
A great video and a wonderful track.
I once had a Subharmonicon and I was somehow confused when I saw your first video ("diary") about the Subharmonicon. My usage was often just to start a sequence on the Subharmonicon then leaving the room and to listen to the "remote sound". Very often something happened what you call "catalyst", the mind was adding more "stuff" to the initial sound. Sometimes I miss this strange but so powerful instrument (as I sold it).
Very Nice , Indeed ,- 😉👍
Beautiful.
Sweet.delicate.. surprised by the guitars. Love the “double time” feel at the end
Lovely piece
The Yamaha just coming in and selling the entire groove. 🤌
Very nice!
I find that both the DFAM and Subharmonicon require *starting with* rather than *embellishing with* ... if I add them after the fact they tend to be used to add varying levels of "chaos" 😆
Thanks for sharing ,
Beautiful Tim. Just a basic question; is the subharmonicon is playing a polyrhythm?
Nice :)
Great!
Can't wait for that 3rd Wave review. Hasn't the owner tried to reclaim it yet? :)
aw man i am really missing my RME now
My subby is a weird one. I don't use it heaps as it's so much it's own thing (and I flirt with the idea of selling it) but the last few times I've played with it, processed through some other modules usually, I come up with something I feel compelled to record and that doesn't happen often for me these days.
I haven't listened just yet, but do you think you will ever lay your hands on the Behringer alternatives?
Edge and Crave, and also soon to be Spice from rumor.
The Behringer version of the subharmonicon sounds perfectly good to me
John, no one cares what you think, you always try to control a narrative, go annoy someone else.
I don't think you love anything other than yourself John.
John playing the victim once again, 23 YT accounts but no accountability for his behavior.
I don't know if you do bandcamp or not, but I would love to get this track on it if it is on there?
Another reason to get the Spice
