My mans taking 10 minutes of story time to grab a fuggin’ gun. To kill a monster that’s invulnerable through his own nonsensical “it evolved real good to not die” plot contrivance. Bravo, Denton.
Ive always wondered if perhaps some ideas stem more from intuition rather than imagination. I think maybe the main character didn't actually invent the monster; but some primal intuition told him about a pre-existing creature. Thats why he couldn't change the story.

Ummm, just fuggin wow.
Not for me. It felt like gore for gore's sake. Story was plodding. Started great but dragged a lot by the end. Sex scene felt like padding and never added anything to the story. Ending felt telegraphed as well. Didn't felt like the monster was interesting or unique. I guess at least it wasn't Lurker Man or Branch Man or something equally silly.
Too bad the sex scenes were added. It cheapens the story and sounds so juvenile!
Ummmmmm.....this story really isn't gonna be a good idea.
